Council shall be mandatory for all 2nd year, 3rd year and
4th year (including 5th year as the case may be) students of

SECTION 1. The organization shall meet at least once a month or upon
as need arises more than once upon the call of the president

ARTICLE IX – DESIGNATION OF RESPONSIBILITIES

V.P. Audit SECTION 1. All elected and appointed officers shall constitute the
highest policy making body within the organization.
V.P. Membership SECTION 2. The executive officers shall protect the interests, goals,
properties and transactions of the organization.
V.P. Communications SECTION 3. The President shall have the following qualification,
duties and responsibilities:

b) Must have held an executive position in this

c) To be the official representative of the organization
inside and outside the university;

b) To perform and discharge the duties of the president in

activities relating to academics; and

V.P. Communications following qualification, duties and responsibilities:

f) To prepare financial statements in every major activity of
the organization;

SECTION 7. The Vice President for Audit shall have the following

SECTION 8. The Vice President for Membership shall have the following

organization.

SECTION 9. The Vice President for Communications shall have the
following qualification, duties and responsibilities:

SECTION 10. The Vice President for External Affairs shall have the
following qualification, duties and responsibilities:
a) May be in a graduating status for the period he will hold

c) To communicate to the other local chapters of NFJPIA
regarding academic and non-academic concerns in the
V.P. Non-academics absence of VP for Academics and Non-Academics.
SECTION 11. The Executive Secretary shall have the following
V.P. Finance qualification, duties and responsibilities:

V.P. Audit b) To prepare the agenda, together with the president for all
meetings of the executive officers; and
Ma. Cecilia B. Almayda c) To record and safe keep the minutes of the meetings of
V.P. Membership the executive officers and other documents; and
d) To make letters, permits, and memo for all activities.
V.P. Communications SECTION 12. The Junior Finance Officer shall have the following

SECTION 13. The outgoing executive officers shall have the duty of

to the incoming officers on or before April 1, 12:00 noon.

ARTICLE X – ELECTION PROCEDURES
President
SECTION 1. Elections for executive officers shall be done every third
Sunday of January with the presence of at least 90% of the
 population of each section, of all the executive officers and
V.P. Academics the current adviser(s).

SECTION 2. The graduating executive officers shall serve as the elections
V.P. Non-academics committee.
Eulysses B. Dacallos SECTION 3. The election should be done in a secret balloting, or in

V.P. Finance inconvenience, should be done in conventional methods and
procedures.
Dexter I. Baraquio
V.P. Audit SECTION 4. Any member having a non-graduating status except for
incoming 2nd year students are eligible for nominations
Ma. Cecilia B. Almayda subject to the provisions of this section. Nominees shall have
V.P. Membership the following qualifications:
a) Must be a student of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy,
Paul Michael G. Lapuz Bachelor of Science in Accounting Technology or
V.P. Communications
Bachelor of Science in Accounting Information System.
b) Must be a bona fide member of the organization;
Mary Rose T. Aldave c) Must have no failing grades in any accounting subjects;
and
d) Must be willing to devote time and effort for the
organization.

ARTICLE XI – RESIGNATIONS, VACANCIES AND

President
 SECTION1. An executive officer shall be considered resigned due to any

a) Inability to perform his duties and responsibilities as an
officer;

c) Formal voluntary resignation.
SECTION 2.Upon the occurrence of the vacancy the executive officers

should immediately inform the adviser(s) and convene for
necessary actions to be taken.

SECTION 3.The vacancy should be filled in by appointment. The
qualifications of being a nominee stated in this by laws (Art.
V.P. Membership X, sec. 4) shall also be the qualifications of the appointee.

SECTION 4.The executive officers together with the adviser(s) shall
V.P. Communications appoint the person to fill in the vacancy provided there is
proper deliberation.

V.P. External Affairs SECTION 5.The appointed officer shall start his term at the day of his
appointment and shall end with the term of the incumbent

Executive Secretary
SECTION 1. Members of the organization are encouraged to participate

_______________________ in the fund raising activities that will be conducted. Proceeds
shall constitute the organization’s fund.

SECTION 2. Each member is required to pay the amount of Php 1.00
or Php 5.00 in total for their weekly dues.

SECTION 3. Any fees and duties paid by the members of the
 organization shall only be for the purpose of meeting the
V.P. Academics administrative costs of the organization and not for the
compensation for the officers.
V.P. Non-academics SECTION 4. The preparation of the 3-month fund status report to be
prepared by the Vice president for Finance should cover

V.P. Finance a) First fund status report, April to June;
b) Second fund status report, July to September;
Dexter I. Baraquio c) Third fund status report, October to December; and
V.P. Audit d) Fourth fund status report, January to March.
Ma. Cecilia B. Almayda SECTION 5. A thorough audit of the annual financial statements
V.P. Membership prepared by the vice president for finance shall be made by
a person with no relation to the latter provided he is in a

V.P. External Affairs ARTICLE XIII – ACCEPTANCE OF BY LAWS

expressed in its purpose and goals and agrees to comply

ARTICLE XIV – DURATION
President SECTION 1. This organization shall exist so long as it continues to

function in accordance with the provision of this by laws
