Dear Friends and Family,

It has been a month and a half since we arrived in the Dominican Republic as we are really
enjoying our time here.
We have reconnected with two families by spending time at their place while having the
opportunity to take them to church. We’ve spent time playing board games and especially the game
Uno. It is has been a great way to build relationships with the children. The adults have surprisingly
enjoyed played Uno as well, for example playing 29 rounds in one
sitting.
We had the privilege of attending a community meeting in Palo
Blanco this past weekend. Turns out the father of our former sponsor
child, who we’ve known for 7 years is the president on the board for
the community. We praise God for the way he works and uses all
things for his glory!
We had the opportunity to share with the community about our
desire to work in and alongside the families. They were very excited
and welcoming, and even encouraged us with some words of Us with the father of our former

Being here in the DR has been a
great experience so far and is eye
opening to recognize how ministry
comes in all different forms and
opportunities. Allowing God to guide
and direct us, opens the doors for
many different ways to minister to
the people of Palo Blanco and those
we come in contact with. Some
forms of ministry have been; taking
Playing 29 rounds of Uno a child to the hospital after he fell off
in one setting. Adam bonding with Adrian,
a bike because we thought he had
broken his arm and having a
conversation with a girl during a walk through the community. Also
sharing meals together with Dominicans and other missionaries, as well as helping a mother learn to
how discipline her child.
Some things to pray for while we are here:
-Please pray for the community of Palo Blanco as they continue to resolve an on going problem of
only having water an hour a day at irregular hours. As far as we know, this has always been the case.
-Pray that we will continue to seek God for his direction and to continue to be intentional with our
remaining time.
-Pray for our continued health and safety.
