FCF Spearheads Financial Management System and Bookkeeping

Seminar at Nueva Vizcaya Lower Magat Eco-tourism Park

The FCF Minerals Corporation thru its Community Relations Office (CRO) spearheaded the conduct of Financial
Management System and Bookkeeping Seminar on August 7-9, 2019 at Lower Magat Eco-tourism Park, Diadi,
Nueva Vizcaya.

Thirty-three (33) participants that composed the

treasurers and officers of the different Community
Based Organizations (CBO) of Brgy. Runruno and
Brgy. Baresbes, focal person and selected staff of
BLGU-Runruno and CRO livelihood staff attended
the three-day seminar recently conducted by FCF-
CRO. These CBO’s were assisted through the
Community Driven Sustainable Livelihood Program
(CDSL) under the Social Development and
Management Program of FCF Minerals
Corporation.

The Community Driven Sustainable Livelihood

Program is a comprehensive program to develop

reliant and self-managed community through the
development of livelihood industries.

The seminar aimed to equip the participants with

the necessary knowledge and technical skills that
will help them in their financial reporting as well as
to guide them on proper management and
utilization of their funds. The resource speaker-Ms.
Charito A. Cadorna, an Enterprise Development
and Marketing specialist of the Philippine Rural
Development Project(PRDP) under the Department
of Agriculture, facilitated the discussion and hands-
on sessions on Financial Management System and
Bookkeeping. Among the topics she discussed
were; Financial Management Organization, Figure 2 the participants posted after the three-day series of lectures and workshops

of Work and Financial Plan, Preparation of Internal
Control Guidelines and Procedures, Financial Reporting and Government Reportorial Requirements, Introduction on
bookkeeping, Importance and Objectives of Bookkeeping, Elements of Accounting, Books of Accounts, Recording
of Business Transactions, Cash Book and Cash Flow and Financial Statements,
