I.INTRODUCTION

Many people are complaining about the implementation of GCTA

Law because of some events that many people are also a victim.
GCTA Law is for the prisoners who did good conduct but, due to
understanding or thoughts of everyone if they let it happen, what
they did from the past, it might happen again so we need to
conduct an event. First, have an awareness on GCTA Law and
harassment. Second, having a self-defense to have knowledge on
how or what they're going to do if incase that they are in danger,
especially if they cannot protect themselves. Lastly, sex assault
awareness march in which a person intentionally sexually touches
another person without that person's consent, or coerces or
physically forces a person to engage in a sexual act against their
will.

II.PURPOSE

The purpose of these events is to help women to give an awareness

not only in this kind of case but in general and GCTA law is a
current issue in our society because of heinous crime Sanchez's
case. These events want to give focus on our contemporary issue
specifically GCTA. The seminar that we will conduct will be
beneficial to women because it is not only a seminar but also
included a self-defense activity that will teach women how to
corresponds to the harassment act. We want to address the daily
issue nowadays that women experience different kinds of
harassment so that they will know how to handle it and be aware of
what action they can do.
III.PROJECT DESCRIPTIONS

In our country, rape cases are so prevalent. For example, like rape
cases of mayor Antonio Sanchez, he is a rapist-killer but, because
of GCTA law or his good conduct, Sanchez would be freed at prison.
Our group think of ways on how we will prevent these rapes cases
and how we will spread awareness. This project consists of seminar,
activities, and a march for the awareness of not only women but,
also men who experience sex abuse or sex assault. We planned to
have a seminar here in Caloocan, if possible, all over the
CAMANAVA to spread awareness about sex assault and other
cases. Next we also plan to conduct an activity that would teach
them about self-defense that they could use whenever they
experiencing not only sex abuse but, anything that includes
physical harm. Lastly, the march because it is also help spread
awareness not only for those who attended but for all of the people
who will see us and we are looking forward for it to happen this
year. It will have a good opportunity for us to make these happen
and make our event more special. Help those people who experience
it. We promise that the funds collected from our sponsors will be
used in good way.

IV.GOALS AND OBJECTIVES

Objectives

Knowing the strengths and weaknesses of personal life and

preventing the emotions and to control the situation. Learn how to
enhance your strengths and it will discover the differences decision
making and lifestyle.
Goals

Goal of the seminar are prevention of gender-based violence, legal

assistance and social development for young women. Our goal is to
prevent physical conflict and know more physical techniques to
defend yourself. Raise public awareness and educate communities
and individuals on how to prevent sexual harassment.

V.METHODOLOGY AND TIMELINES

Week 1: Preparation on conducting research about GCTA Law. Data

gathered will be analyze and be used on creating questionnaires to
conduct an interview.

Week 3: Conducting an Interview to people about what they know,

opinions, and concerns about the GCTA law. The interview will be
held in different places of Caloocan City.

Week 6: Information’s gathered will serve as statistical data. These

will be processed by deep analysis and examination.

Week 9: Planning for creating events that could raise awareness to

people, how the project would raise funds, and how could we reach
people to spread knowledge.

Week 11: Preparation for conducting a seminar near Caloocan City

to inform people to make them be aware. Finding sponsor to raise
funds will begin at this week.
Week 14: Preparation for creating activity about self-defense that
would be beneficial to people. Especially, for those who experience
assault. Self-awareness empowers people to prevent rape and be
preferred for any causalities that could happen.

Week 17: Preparation for sex assault march awareness. Identifying

on where the march will be conducted and how could this project
will reach people to join the said event.

VI.BENEFITS AND ANTICIPATED

Benefits

Share knowledge for those who want to know our purpose

about GCTA. Some people are unaware of the impact of this project.
Self-awareness improve self-control and regulations. It may
empower us to prevent rape events in our country and be prepared
for any eventuality and teach us an ability to protect our self and
overcome an attacker. Self-defense helps people, especially for
women to develop more confidence in themselves and
surroundings.

Anticipated

The outcomes of the benefits provide you knowledge to

protect yourself. Be safe in our own country especially danger is
anywhere. Also, all of us don’t want to get assaulted by someone.
Be aware of unexpected happening to anticipate and protect
yourself from harmful acts.
