Comment [D.S1]: A good overview of your involvement
with physical activity Daniel.
Monday SCOOT 56%-60%
To have provided a more detailed analysis, I would have
Tuesday BMX 93%-100% liked to see the inclusion of your time spent engaging with
the activities and what training zone you think these
percentages situated you in.

Additionally, some amendments to your training program in
part two would have displayed a deeper understanding of
the learning outcomes of the task and how utilizing training
zones can help you meet the physical activity guidelines for
people in your age group.

Part 3. Reflection (to be presented in written or a multimodal form such as a power

point or oral for example. You will also include appropriate referencing for information sighted in your
responses using APA format)

a. Why you believe society’s and your own physical activity is decreasing
I believe that the physical activity in the is decreasing is because these day people sit Comment [D.S2]: Days?
inside either watching TV, on their phone or playing games for at minimum 6 hours a
day. Which that time that they are spending watching tv or whatever other things
there doing they should be outside hanging out with their friend playing sports e.g.
basketball, cricket, soccer and football or even just riding the bike or scooter. Comment [D.S3]: I like your thoughts on this Daniel. I too
believe that technology and TV plays a major role in
contributing to sedentary behaviour and adverse health
b. Discuss the benefits of enhanced physical activity has had/is having on your health. conditions.

You may wish to discuss health and skill related fitness components and chronic
adaptations to training.
By me doing Physical exercise it will/have made my health and body weight in a very
good condition which is good for when I’m older as it is strengthening my heart which
will prevent heart attacks and other heart/health problems. Also, for me doing these
exercises which burns calories and the energy what food contains. Which I have found
that since I’ve burnt that energy that you are suppose to burn off with physical
exercise I am having a better sleep time/experience. Which is making my morning a
lot better as I am no longer still tired in the morning because my body has fully
recovered. Comment [D.S4]: You have included some very valid points
here! I like that you have mentioned cardiovascular,
metabolic, mental and physical health as beneficiaries of an
c. Explain the reasons for your choices in training styles and intensities contained within increased involvement in physical activities.

your fitness plan.

As I have/am already doing this exercise plan and has been working very well for me
compared to when I wasn’t doing this exercise plan I was to tired to wake up early for
school which was causing me to rock up to school late and I would still be tired whilst
I was at school causing me to not do the best at my school work making my grades not
being the best. Since that I’ve been doing this exercise plan I have been able to wake
up early, rock up to school on time and I have also noticed that the level of my school
work has improved by an insane amount. Comment [D.S5]: Implementing a fitness plan to help you
better engage in your daily activities is a wise choice Daniel.

d. Finally, discuss how the implementation of this knowledge places you in the best
possible position to be involved in physical activity and sport for life.
Since I’ve been doing this exercise plan it is helping me with improving my max heart
rate, fitness and also it is making my BMX racing much easier as I can now go around
the track at 100% all the way through it and now my times I improving as well and it
is continuing to improve. Comment [D.S6]: Looking at how your newly acquired
knowledge can help you improve your sporting performance
and day to day life is a valuable skill. Nice work!

Comment [D.S7]: Overall this is good effort Daniel. You
have evaluated your own engagement with your physical
activity as well as questioning why Australia’s over all
involvement and engagement with PA is on the decline,
whilst mentioning some of the various health befits and how
they apply to you.

A little more application and effort during class may have
helped you fill out parts one and two with a little more detail
and make appropriate changes to your fitness plan in order
to meet the physical activity guide lines.
