As a CONSTITUTIONALIST my concern is the true meaning and application of the constitution.

* Gerrit, did you read the article in the 3 October 2019 Herald Sun by James Campbell “Just
pray we avoid this world of chaos”?

**#** INSPECTOR-RIKATI®, to be very honest I held this was a very good article. Totally
different then the story at https://insidestory.org.au/crossing-the-line/ “Crossing the line”.

We should keep in mind that Alexander Downer was employed as a High Commissioner to
London and I view had no business to mingle into USA political issues. I wonder if he charged
taxpayers for his drinking session? If he did I view this was misappropriation of taxpayers
monies. Anyhow as to the article “Crossing the line” I posted this comment:

Donald Trump to become President. Indeed, the Liberal/National Party assist in
undermining candidate Trumps ability to start of with what I consider unlawful conduct by
High Commissioner Alexander Downer to act in a manner I would associate with being a
spy. It in my view was not at all his function/position to get involved in this campaign
against candidate Donald Trump.
It appears to me the Democrats were misusing the Office of the then President, the CIA,
the DoJ, FBI, etc. to oppose candidate Donald Trump to become successful. In fact I
understand that the members of the Electoral College were threatened with even killings if
they were to vote for candidate Donald Trump to become President.
It is against this and a lot more background that President Donald Trump may have been
concerned that candidate Joe Biden may possibly misuse the Office of Presidency as to get
involved in similar issues as was with his son Hunter Biden in Ukraine and chine.
In my view this is on that basis a proper request to have all relevant details to be provided.

 Again the Democrat’s leadership claimed there was unquestionable evidence that candidate
Donald Trump had colluded with Russia. Yet the Mueller Report did not find this at all.
In my view the article of Lesley Russell is failing any impartiality to set out matters with
the background circumstances as to why President Donald Trump is seeking release of
information.
I view that if President Donald Trump made a request to Prime Minister Scott Morrison
then this would have been appropriate in view that as I understand it Alexander Downer
was after all the trigger of it all about Russian collusion. Why indeed did he have a meeting
at all when as I understand it had nothing to do with being a High Commission to the UK?
It appears to me that Lesley Russell is implying that because there was a LP/NP
government it would not have acted against a Republican. Well to me that is utter and sheer
nonsense.
In my view Lesley Russell omitting the background from which it all commenced is a
serious issue. It appears to me he was rather having a political propaganda to write about
then a fair dinkum article.
Because much of the Commonwealth of Australia Constitution Act 1900 (UK) is inherited
from the American constitution, such as FREEDOM OF SPEECH, FREEDOM OF
RELIGION, etc, in fact the first 14 amendments also, I seek to follow in a limited manner
what goes on in the USA and consider much of what USA law professors write about.
People were brandishing President Donald Trump as a TREATOR, etc, because of all the
claims by the Democrat leadership having seen unquestionable evidence that candidate
Donald Trump was colluding with the Russians. Well, we know now it didn’t happen, to
the contrary it were the Democrats who were colluding. And I view it is therefore very
unwise for anyone to lambaste someone with concealing background details. In my view
Australians would do better to let this political duel between opposing American political
parties to be sorted out between them.
Because Joe Biden is a candidate should never prevent the truth to be exposed, as this
could mean to use being a candidate to thwart legal accountability.

**#** You cannot claim we have a close relationship if you are acting like an enemy, as I view
was what occurred in 2016. As such, the appropriate thing to do is for Scott Morrison to
cooperate with any investigation of the USA. I am sick and tired people claiming we have this
close cooperation with the USA while in fact in my view acting like an enemy against the then
candidate Donald Trump. James Campbell was right on the dot to make clear it would have been
better to have kept our mouths shut. After all one must in my view be a complete idiot to
undermine a political candidate in another country who then might end up becoming president,
as Donald Trump did. Corry Bernardi was the smart one amongst the politicians to actually do
his own observations in the USA and I understood he warned people against misjudgments.
Here we had all this about Russian Interference allegedly involving candidate Donald Trump
when it was rather British, Australian and other countries interfering in the USA election. In my
view President Donald Trump is well within his right to now pursue the truth to be made known.
What was the involvement of Alexander Downer in it all? Was he a spy for the Democratic Party
while being paid by the Australian Government to be the High Commissioner to the UK? Was he
having drinking parties with buddies, etc, as cost of Australian taxpayers to spy on candidate
Donald Trump? After all why did he have a meeting in the first place?
* So, you have no issue if PM Scott Morrison were to disclose relevant details to the USA?
**#** Not at all. After all if the USA cannot trust Australia then how much worth is the alliance?
* Do you view all Alexander Downer expenditure should be investigated?

and say let us not drag ourselves down into the gutter, and clear our name with the USA as to
what, if anything, inappropriately was done by Alexander Downer and any others and let us
focus on real issues such as those quoted above and other important issues.

* I am surprised by your comments as at times you appear to divert from the alliance.
**#** Not at all, so far I view it is constitutionally permissible I have no objection however if it
seeks to plunge the Commonwealth of Australia into an uncalled, needless war then I will cast
my voice.
We need to return to the organics and legal principles embed in of our federal constitution!
