Rotary Rake Screen (Also called as rotary solid-liquid separator), is an advanced solid-liquid
separation device which has been widely used in municipal wastewater treatment plant,pre-treatment
device for domestic effluents, municipal rainwater & sewage pump station,water intake of water
supply plant & cooling water of power plant. It can also be used for industrial waste water treatment,
such as textile, printing and dyeing, food, fisheries, paper making, brewing, slaughtering and tanning

The Norsen Rotary Separator IRDS provides excellent performance for large particle separation. The
corrosion resistant stainless steel construction ensures exceptional wear resistance and makes it
ideal for all applications. The non-corrosive chain drive system delivers high torque turning power
while generating very low noise and vibration levels. The IRDS also features a CIP spray bar and
solenoid valve. The IRDS is available as 900 model and 1200 model with different screen size
options. Optional electrical control panel available.

The Externally Fed Rotary Drum Screen Separator RDS is a great option for organic material
separation, e.g. in livestock waste or food processing applications. Built-in overflow bypass
eliminates flooding of traditional externally fed rotary screens. Corrosion resistant construction
ensures long lifetime. Available with perforated or wedge wire screen drum. Internal CIP spray
bar. The RDS can be combined with the Roller Press for improved dry matter results. Optional
electrical control panel available.

1.PRETREATMENT// DISSOLVED AIR FLOTATION UNIT // DAF

The DAF unit clarifies animal wastewater by removing suspended organic material using micronized
air bubbles that float the tiny solid particles to the surface. The particles form a layer of sludge on
the surface which is skimmed off by a rake assembly. The sludge contains a high percentage of NPK
nutrients. Stair treads and platform are gray chemgrate. Optional electrical control panel available.

2.SLUDGE TREATMENT// BELT FILTER PRESS // BFP

The Norsen BFP thickening & dewatering press is mainly used for the remaining biological treatment
of municipal sewage sludge or mixed sludge concentration and dehydration; it’s an efficient
dewatering equipment which can make the sludge form sludge cake; the device can be applied in
water supply and drainage and sludge dehydration of all industries like paper making, casting, leather,
textile, chemical, food and so on. At last spatula scraped off the sludge cake and the sludge is
discharged outside; upper and lower filter are flushed for re-use.

2.SLUDGE TREATMENT// POLYMER DOSING UNIT // PDU

The automatic dosing device is widely used in auxiliary equipment of municipal water treatment and
water sludge treatment; continuous and efficient completion of the polymer compounding and mixing
to obtain homogeneous active polymer solution. The device applies a jet mixer, using high-speed
hydraulic to break up the drug or powder and increase the fineness, improve contact of water and
pharmaceutical or particulates, permeate area, reduce the time of dissolution; the equipment uses
three slots overflow combination: preparing, aging and dosing; through the solution’s specific gravity
difference, caused by gravity and solubility, automatically separate the dissolved and undissolved;
and then , by stirring of low-speed stirrer to improve the evenness of the solution.
