• Assist in data collection of multiple gait studies, involving MATLAB biofeedback scripts and COSMED
metabolic cart
• Operate Cortex 3D marker tracking software to collect lower-limb movements in real time
• Analyze kinematics and metabolic data
• Projects currently working on:
o “Dynamic imaging to guide wearable robotic intervention for enhanced mobility in aging”
o “A momentum-enabled treadling methodology to improve gait and enhance mobility in patients with
peripheral arterial disease”
MOTION Science Institute
Undergraduate Research Consultant, May 2019 – present
• Assist in improving upon a prototype developed for vibration-based gait retraining after ankle injury
• Working on maximizing the durability, circuitry, and wireless communication of the device

WORK EXPERIENCE
UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center Tissue Procurement Facility
Lab Assistant, August 2017 - present
• Collect blood samples from UNC hospitals and separate blood using a centrifuge
• Aliquot processed blood using a motorized-pipette
• Inventory and pull samples from liquid nitrogen freezers
• Insert patient information and consent forms into multiple databases
• Read pathology reports and extract important information for external samples
• Take initiative to refill slides and lab equipment when they appear to be low
PROJECTS
i4 Innovation and Design Competition, November 2018 – April 2019
• Collaborated with MANN + HUMMEL to design a wearable dialysis device
• Placed in the top 5 in pitch 1 and 2, receiving $5,000 in funding for the development of the project
Instrumentation Devices, January 2019 – March 2019
• Built circuits that detect signals from the body and converts them into electrical signals
• Designed numerous LabVIEW programs that read signals from the circuits and output desired data
• Created a blood pressure monitor, ECG and heart rate monitor, and a pulse oximetry device
