1. Evacuation Procedure
1.1 Ms Chairperson explained the evacuation procedure Info

2. Hendrina Sluice Range

2.1 We stopped work because of Safety issues.
2.2 We sent a new quotation and drawings to the client as per EM 23/07/15 31/07/15
agreement, no response yet.
2.3 We will also install the valves that are outstanding when we go
back on site.

3. Arnot Refurbishment of Electronic Equipment Rooms

3.1 Probes were removed today by New Horizons.
3.2 We are left with electrical installation, casting of concrete on the Site 23/07/15 30/07/15
floor and painting the ceiling. Manager
3.3 We have until the 5th of August to finish all the works, the client
have an updated program. 23/07/15 05/08/15

4.Alstom – Kusile Construction of Masonry Walls

4.1The project is 90% done.
4.2 5% left for plastering and 5% for painting. Info 23/07/15 31/07/15

another one to Arnot for safe keeping.

5.1 The safety file and documents requested were submitted to SM 23/07/15 24/07/15
the client and they are happy with them.
5.2 The site Manager will be meeting the Client tomorrow to
discuss the Launders and the acceptance of the scope 24/07/15
SM/Safety 23/07/15
(24/07/14).
5.3 We will be replacing all the Launders according to the Info 23/07/15 31/07/15
scope.
5.6 We are waiting for the access permit from the client. SM 23/07/15 31/07/15
5.7 Fabrication of ESP bypass in progress at the workshop.

6. Pipe Line Technology

6.1 Pipe sealing – we received 5 orders and 4 were successfully info 23/07/15 23/07/15
done. One is still outstanding at Samancor. One was done today as

6.2 Pipe Freezing – 1 was successfully done at Tutuka Power Station.

6.3 We need to improve our communication channel and do a 23/07/15
thorough job as a marketing strategy.
6.4 PLT Sales must buy their tools and equipment and keep them in

7.CONSTRUCTION OF CW BOOSTER PUMPS

7.1 We were delayed for two weeks due to the container issue and
the core drilling in the concrete. Info 23/07/15 23/07/15
7.2 We are now within the program and we are targeting to finish on

7.3 Laser alignment and coupling will be done on Wednesday the
29th of July.
7.4 Written communication is still a problem on the Clients side, they Supervisor 23/07/15 23/07/15
like saying things verbally. (QCPs are signed at very stage).

7.5 We using tools and equipment from Hendrina project as a cost 29/07/15

7.6 We now know the quantities of grout to use per base since us no 23/07/15

7.7 Welding is supposed to be done well because it will be 29/07/15

7.8 Hired tools are returned soon after use.
