Class Rules

There is only one thing you need to know about this class: as long as you don't do something to interfere with anyone's
learning—meaning you, your classmates, the students in other classrooms, and me—you're fine.
 Homework: (Do your homework on due times (Deadline) and hand it to me at the door.)
 RESPECT (yourself, Me, your classmates, school, Instructions, deadlines etc.)
 SILENCE (you should pay attention at all times, and never speak to your seat partner unless it is pair work)
 Textbook & Notebook (Always present, CLEAN, and you WRITE everything)
 Seating Arrangements (You set at your assigned seat and respect it; in this class we are all equal, no ―Kassul‖ No
―Mojtahid‖)
 Punctuality (Time, being late is not tolerated)
 Restrooms (Do your business during class breaks, you have five minutes, SPECIAL CASES will be considered)
 Electronics are allowed (HOWEVER, trust me I can tell when you are using it for educational purposes and when you
aren’t)
 Bullying is EXTREMLY prohibited and can lead to report and expulsion.
 Cheating is definitely not allowed and you will get a zero in your mark, and nothing can change that!

What if I do something to interfere with learning?

I will do whatever I can to make sure you are learning and that everyone else can learn as well. Depending on the situation,
this could mean a short meeting between just you and me, a phone call home, meetings with our team, Assistant Principal,
counselor, your parents/guardians... or anything else that will help get you back on track.
What if I do well?
 Praise, praise and more praise
 Positive notes or calls home
 Student of the Month recognition
 Homework Passes
 Membership to the Upgrade Club
 Eligibility for special English Scholars events, workshops and trips
 International conference and Exchange programs to the United States of America
