COURSE SYLLABUS

COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This Physical Education activity is a team sport that aims to provide
playing skills, performances and proper values in playing volleyball. This
enjoyable activity deals with the development of sports skills in serving,
receiving, tossing, spiking, and blocking the ball. It also gives the students the
opportunity to participate in an intra-class competition.
The course also includes historical background, facilities and
equipment, terminologies, rules and regulations of the game for the clear
understanding of the concept and knowledge of volleyball. Also, it includes
practical officiating game.

REFERENCES:
CLASS POLICIES:
1. University policy on attendance shall be implemented.
2. Students must attend classes promptly and regularly and must
come to class in proper P.E. uniform and should wear their
assigned class number/playing number.
3. Students shall be marked tardy if he/she arrived in class 15 minutes
after the start of the scheduled time.
4. Students shall be marked absent from the class if he/she arrives 20
minutes after the start of the scheduled time.
5. Students shall be marked absent if he/she leaves the class prior to
dismissal time.
6. No foods, cellphones and other gadgets allowed during class
hours.
7. Students are allowed to bring bottled water.
8. Always maintain the cleanliness of the facility that we’ll be using.
9. Any performance failed to perform on day of the presentation will
be equivalent to a grade of 0.0.
10. Safety rules shall be observed at all times.
