GRAND
THE GAME
ESCAPE
AREA 51
• Area 51 is the common name of a highly classified United States
Air Force (USAF) facility located within the Nevada Test and
Training Range.
• A site for covert Cold War operations, it has long been a magnet
for crackpots, conspiracy theorists, and the overly curious.
• There are rumors that Area 51 is a haven for UFO's and
extraterrestrials.
INTRODUCTION

Imagine finding yourself trapped in the horrors of the most secretive place on
Earth- amidst the underground tunnels, enemy aircrafts, UFOs and well, aliens!
Terrified? Well, we'd be if we were you!
Don't worry though, all ain't that gloomy! What scares you the most, might be
the path to your rescue.
Let's see if you can answer the questions thrown at you by the aliens in Area 51.
If you get through, you'll be rewarded with money that helps you to either buy
or rent weapons to kill your enemies (US army guards) and make an escape.
The escape is surely not easy, but your wits can turn the game around!
RULES FOR ROUND 1
• The participants can participate in teams of two. Lone wolves are always welcome.
• The participants have to answer the 10 questions within the stipulated time slots of
20 minutes. After that, no responses would be accepted.
• Participants are requested to participate in only 1 of the two slots. Participation in
both of the slots would lead to cancellation of the 2nd response.
• Time taken to answer the questions would be taken into consideration. The lesser
time you take, the more you will earn on each correct answer.
• The participants will be allocated a budget on the basis of the accuracy and speed in
answering the questions.
• There is no negative marking. You can also leave a question, if you don’t know the
answer. So you will get a minimum budget to play with in the subsequent round.
RULES FOR ROUND 2
• In Round 2, you will be given the choice to either purchase or rent a weapon based on your allocated
budget. You can choose only one weapon.

• The weapons are subject to depreciation (damage points would reduce) based on their demand/usage.
• In case of renting of a weapon the participants would have to pay a rental cost which would be equal to
RENTAL COST=(240/(DAMAGE POINT OF THAT WEAPON))*PER USE RENTAL COST.
Note:-The damage point will decrease on the basis of number of participants opting for that weapon
• In case of purchase of weapon, additional money would be rewarded at the end. In this case, there will be
no usage cost. There will be only one time purchase cost. The additional money awarded will be based on
the value of the weapon which is given by the following formula:
AWARDED VALUE=COST OF THE WEAPON*(100-PERCENTAGE OF THE PARTICIPANTS OPTING FOR
THAT WEAPON)
(In other words the more number of participants will opt for your weapon the lesser would be its awarded
value. So, choose wisely.)
• The person who will be able to make an escape with the maximum cash left (allocated budget and value of
the weapon, in case of purchase) will be adjudged the winner.

Damage points are earned when you cause damage to the enemy. In totality,
you need 240 damage points to kill all the enemies in Area 51. So, if a
weapon can earn 40 damage points for you, use it 6 times. If a weapon
earns 60 damage points, use it 4 times.

Note: The more the number of people opting for a particular weapon, the
lesser will become the damage points of that weapon and more will be the
expenditure on the weapon. In other words, weapons will depreciate
subject to their demand.
