Fuse and Relay Locations

The park brake alarm feature warns the driver that the park brake has not been set prior to leaving the vehicle.
For the park brake alarm to sound, two conditions must be met, the park brake is not applied and the driver’s
side door is opened. A sensor detects these two conditions and an audible alarm sounds. The audible alarm
emits from the park brake buzzer. This buzzer is located at the ER8 fuse and relay location on the dash
mounted fuse and relay center. The park brake alarm will not sound if the passenger door is opened,
regardless of the brake position.

To stop the park brake alarm from starting or to shut the alarm off, the park brake must be set.
