JOB SCOPES AND ROLES:

Executive Director & Head Engineer

 Makes the crucial decisions in company and during projects.


 Evaluates all costs associated with each project including materials, costs of labour, and
time expended.
 Negotiates contracts with vendors and clients to ensure the most cost effective means
of reaching the customer’s needs.
 Coordinates the engineering team, assigning short and long term goals for successful
completion of the project’s plans.
 Makes sure all projects and undertakings stay on budget and within the projected time
schedule.

Director of Safety & Health

 Monitoring health and safety risks and hazards in the workplace.


 Advice employees on how to minimise or ultimately avoid risks and hazards in
workplace
 Being responsible for all safety inspections in the workplace.
 Assisting with the creation and management of health and safety monitoring systems
and policies in the workplace.
 Working with and training all employees to manage, monitor and improve the health
and safety standards in the workplace.
Director of Finance

 Conducting feasibility studies to estimate materials, time and labour costs.


 Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities.
 Advise building owners and architects on the probable cost of construction schemes
and on the costs of alternative designs.
 Evaluate tenders from contractors and subcontractors and, where appropriate, negotiate
with the contractors.
 Monitor and keep track of project progress and are responsible for the measurement
and valuation of variations in the work during the contract, for agreement of interim
payments and the final account.

Director of Civil & Structure

 Perform structural design and analysis calculations using governing codes and
standards, engineering formulas, skills, and experience.
 Layout and details portions of projects using schematic layout by project lead engineer.
 May be assigned responsibility for schematic or conceptual layouts when qualified.
 Provide drawing for own designs and produce sketches to incorporate in drawings by
Designers/Drafters.
 Research design options and document findings for project lead engineer.
 Assume the lead engineer’s role on assigned projects.

Director of Legal Affairs & Secretarial

 Responsible for organizing the project and office files including payroll documents,
project billing summaries, compensation documents, blueprints, contracts and supplier
invoices.
 Update and keep track of the cost of building materials and labour for each project.
 Composing and typing project correspondence, sorting mail, submitting construction
permit requests and scheduling meetings.
 Providing management with effective legal advice on business issues and company
strategies, ensuring the company operates in compliance with applicable laws and
regulations, other court documents.
 Advising the human resources department on employment law and labour and benefit
issues, drafting and negotiating contracts and agreements.
