As a data analytics lead for the commercial department of my client organization, I am leading a small team of
data analysts who work on analyzing the data that is captured and create interactive visualizations to enable
actionable business intelligence.

My key responsibilities include:


-Analyze raw data sets and define key performance indicators (KPIs).
-Designing the scope and Implementation of Advanced reporting solutions.
-Working with clients and end users to gather requirements on reporting dashboards.
- Connect to Cloudera Impala tables and create actionable dashboards based on data present.

My responsibility was to form and design the framework for the functioning of the Finance Reporting and
Analytics team of my clients, along with leading the team and bringing it up to speed. The team was involved
in assisting our clients to develop simpler processes to provide timely, accurate, and repeatable data solutions
to Finance users. During my tenure, we expanded our operations capabilities to three applications other than
the original finance reporting that we were doing and the team size grew to 10 people from the original 3
people.
My responsibilities during the assignment included the following:
-Work with Finance users on a number of functional areas such as Account Payables, General Ledgers, etc. for
their Data reporting needs and deliverables.
-Monitor the SLA & Metrics Information on day to day basis for Finance report requests and ensure team
complies with it.
-Designing the scope and Implementation of Advanced Finance reporting tools.
-Working with client Finance business team to gather requirements on reporting dashboards.
-Working with client project manager to finalize project plan and effort estimates.

-Work with Business HR users on a number of functional areas such as Compensation and Benefits, Executive
Compensation, US Payroll, Performance Assessment, Churn, Headcount Reporting, etc. for their Data
reporting needs and deliverables.
-Monitor the SLA & Metrics Information on day to day basis for HR Report requests and ensure team
complies with it.
-Designing the scope and Implementation of Advanced HR reporting tools.
-Working with client HR business team to gather requirements on reporting dashboards.
-Deliverables status tracking & reporting to client project manager and Business leaders.
-Mentoring and coaching project team for reports development and enhancements.
-Creating back-ups for handling tasks during absences and transitions.

Some of the Key achievements during this tenure include creating a one stop solution tool for HR users to run
reports for their defined population and eliminate the need to raising a ticket and waiting for a report to be
delivered, leading to 80% time-saving. Also, I developed a tool for tracking the effect on payroll and to track
what percent of the allocated budget has been spent, which eased the work of the Compensation and Benefits
team, who earlier had to do complex calculation manually to find out the numbers.
