Data Analytics Lead
As a data analytics lead for the commercial department of my client organization, I am leading a small team of
data analysts who work on analyzing the data that is captured and create interactive visualizations to enable
actionable business intelligence.
One of the key achievements has been to create Revenue and Backlog dashboards which resulted in
manual hours saving by 70%.
Data Analytics Lead- Finance Reporting and Operations
My responsibilities include:
-Analyze large data sets to create meaningful information based on the data.
-Create cross table, Bar chart, Tree map and complex reports which involves Property Controls, Custom
Expressions.
-Create complex information links to pull data from Oracle tables.
-Perform various transformations(pivot, unpivot) on Spotfire data.
-Implement row-level security in Spotfire.
-Implement Action controls with Iron Python customizations in Spotfire.
-Use HTML in text area of Spotfire for better look and feel of text.
-Provide access to users on SQL tables used for row-level security.
-Monitor if data in views in latest and check for any anomalies in data.
-Work with clients to gather requirements and aid them in decision making.

-Working closely with multiple teams-the Database team, functional team, end users as well as Admin teams

One of the key achievements have been rolling out the compliance tool on Spotfire for end users replacing the
existing low-performance and complicated to use High Charts tool, which led to more than 85 percent time
saving for end users as well as 90% time saving to implement any enhancements.
As an Offshore Team Lead in the One HR Reporting COE, I managed a team of 16 people that assisted our
clients in developing simpler processes to provide timely, accurate, and repeatable data solutions to HR users.
My responsibilities during the assignment included the following:
-Work with Business HR users on a number of functional areas such as Compensation and Benefits, Executive
Compensation, US Payroll, Performance Assessment, Churn, Headcount Reporting, etc. for their Data
reporting needs and deliverables.
-Monitor the SLA & Metrics Information on day to day basis for HR Report requests and ensure team
complies with it.
-Designing the scope and Implementation of Advanced HR reporting tools.
-Working with client HR business team to gather requirements on reporting dashboards.
-Deliverables status tracking & reporting to client project manager and Business leaders.
-Mentoring and coaching project team for reports development and enhancements.
-Creating back-ups for handling tasks during absences and transitions.
Some of the Key achievements during this tenure include creating a one stop solution tool for HR users to run
reports for their defined population and eliminate the need to raising a ticket and waiting for a report to be
delivered, leading to 80% time-saving. Also, I developed a tool for tracking the effect on payroll and to track
what percent of the allocated budget has been spent, which eased the work of the Compensation and Benefits
team, who earlier had to do complex calculation manually to find out the numbers.
