Bicentennial Man

Did you ever think that is it possible that robot

become human? Did it come up in your mind at least
once? Well, it is possible that robot can be human.
Base in the movie “Bicentennial Man”, there was a
robot who became human.

There was a Family who owns a robot named

Andrew. Andrew helps them to do their household
choirs, he do everything in the house. Andrew realizes
that he is not the typical robot that comes into your
mind when you are talking about robot. He have
emotions. When he’s master and its family gets older,
Andrew feels lonely. Andrew has a particularly hard
time to dealing with the pain of not being able to cry
and realizes that every persons he loves will
eventually die.
 When Andrew is separated in the Martin Family,
he finds a robot but not just a robot but a feminine
robot. Her name is Galatea. Andrew found a man that
will help him to become a human. They work together
every day to accomplish their job. And they
eventually did it. Andrew become a human. He has
now have a heart and internal organs and he will now
be getting older. And the most important part is he
will express he’s emotions easily.

He fell in love with Little Miss’s Grand daughter

Portia. And they eventually die together.

In this movie, I become more curious about our

surroundings because maybe, in the future it is
possible to have a robot that will become human. The
movie made me ask my self that what if there is still
a robot like Andrew in this generation? Would our life
would be simple? Or it will be more conflicted?
That’s sound so crazy. For me, if there is a robot like
Andrew. I bet our life will be more easier. By simply
make an order to the robot it would be more easy.
Robots can be also a help to our daily lives, especially
in our children. It can be our friend. Or it can be also
our human diary, that’s the best thing I can imagine.

We should know the importance of robots to

determine when to use and when to not use robots.
Robots can be our dictionary because they can give
us the information that the humans cannot get.

The Strength of a robot in the movie is that he is the

first robot that became human. He is not easily be
tired even if he works everyday. He follows the
commands of the family without complains. He will
love your family unconditionally. And especially he
will not going to leave you. The weaknesses of a robot
is that he do not eat, wash his body, and etc that
humans usually do. And he do not have a emotions.
And the saddest weakness of this robot is that the
world congress did not agree to became the robot to
be a human.
This movie literally ruined my mind especially
imagining that it would possible to have a robot who
would become human. There’s more what if’s in my
mind right after I watched this movie. What if we
are like Andrew? What if there’s a lot of Andrew in
our World, in our generation today? Would it be
more easy to live? Would it be worth it to be
“Human”?
