Note: the whole system is used in elevators, which have movable car bottom. Before using it,
please read the material carefully. Do not keep magnet close to above 100℃ material in
case of losing magnetism .
We only answer for these quality problems under guaranty.

Installation and adjustment


3. System structure and installation indication
1. Appearance indication (refer to fig.1)
2. Movable car bottom system installation indication (refer to fig. [3])
3. Try best to install sensor in the centre of the car bottom or the original position of the
elevator’s overload switch. .
Fix the system on the machine supporting beams of the car bottom. Attach the magnet at the
car bottom and make sign downside.
4. Connection bracket is made according to the fact. But it must be made by inflexible material.
in order to avoid swinging ,it is better if the thickness is more than 4mm ,or it has a
stiffening plate .
5.adjust the device and make induction section centre face that of the magnet .Be sure to make
the magnet center face that of the induction sector; meanwhile, make sure the device plane is
parallel with that of the magnet.

2. Auto-learning parameters of empty load and rated load

When system shows [L0] ,press button [▲]

3. System adjustment in other situation


If happens these situation as follow, please modify the running parameter.
⑴ weight of moveable car bottom have changed.
⑵ mechanical transformation of car bottom .
⑶ temperature difference in winter and summer has a great influence on coefficient of the
car bottom shock absorption rubber.
⑷ the car bottom shock absorption rubber has been oxidable and transformative.
⑸ turn up overshoot situation.
⑹ the load weighting device is loose.

Running parameters adjustment and its meaning


5. Parameter adjustment (note: * stand for a number from 0 to 9 and A to F in hexadecimal
digital.)
1. Press button [▲] and [▼] on the panel simultaneously and then supply with the power.

System shows flash [PP] and enters into system modification status of the running parameter.
2 .release button [▲] and [▼] ,system show [P*] and [[**] alternately . [P*] is system working
parameter and [**] is the data value of [P*].
3 .When system shows [P*] ,press button [▼] ,working figure increases. While press button
[▲] , working figure decreases .
4 .when system shows [**] , press button [▼] ,data value increases. While press button
[▲] , data value decreases .
5. When release button, system shows working figure and configuring data alternately.
6 .if want to modify other configuration, please redo step “ 3, 4, 5 ”.
7 .When system shows [P*], press button [▲] and [▼] on the panel simultaneously ,system
will store modified data for future using .Meanwhile, system shows [P*] for a second. The
operation of modification is complete.
(Note: * stand for a number from 0 to 9 and A to F in hexadecimal digital.)
Example: how to change P2 into 16;
1. Press button [▲] and [▼] on the panel simultaneously and then supply with the power.
System shows flash [PP] and enters into modification status of working parameter.
2 .release button [▲] and [▼] ,system shows [P*] and [[**] alternately .
3 .When system shows [P0], press button [▼] until it becomes [P2].
4 .release button [▼] ,system shows [P2] and [[**] alternately .
5. When system shows [**], press button [▲] and [▼] and change it into [16].
6. Release button, system shows [P2] and [16] alternately.
7. When system shows [P2], press button [▲] and [▼] on the panel simultaneously, system
will store modified data. Meanwhile, system shows [P1] for a second. The operation of
modification is complete.

⑴ press button [▲],if system shows [4.7] ,it means the maximum compression quantity of
movable car bottom is 4.7mm from empty load to rated load. User can store this value for future
using.
⑵ press button [▼] ,system will show the current load variable of movable car bottom.
If system shows [1.2], the compression quantity of movable car bottom is 1.2mm.

Operation
9. Other cases analysis
1. How to do when the weighing signal changes during running after the load weighing device
installed?
The output signal of weighing load has not been locked after starting the elevator. Please
make P6 and P7 in short circuit status with the signal of door circuit or start control circuit.
You can also use program of selector to solve this problem.
2. How to do when the zero point of empty load turns up a big deviation after a long period
running?

Maybe causes by the reason expressed in charter “4.3”, please set system auto-learning mode
and redo adjustment.
3. How to do when system remains show heavy load signal after elevator’s load from heavy
load to light load?
Please resolve the mechanical problem. The compression quantity do not recover after
current load changing from heavy load to light load.
4. How to do when system output signal do not change linear with the load?
Check the structure of movable car bottom. Be sure that movable car bottom only has a
relative movement toward induction sector of the device.

10. How to do adjustment when you know the compression quantity from empty
load to rated load?
If know the compression quantity is 5.8mm from empty load to rated load, do as follows:
1 .set P0=58 and store parameter. Please refer to charter “5”.
2. After restart, system shows [LP] and wait for system shows [LL], [L0] or [LH].
3. Adjust installation position in empty load. When system shows [L0], tighten the device.
4 .when system shows [L0] , press button [▲] and [▼] and then system enter into
auto-learning parameter .
5. After flash show [PL] for 5 sec, system auto-learning parameter completion.

11.how to redo system auto-learning operation


method 1 : Press button [▲] and supply with power . When system show [-A] or “user appointed
running code “, release it. System shows [Pn], which mean all working parameter,
return to default. Choice [-0] to give up this operation.
Method 2: modify P0=0A or “ user special code “, system will reset and return to default status.
Refer to charter 5 for detail operation.
method 3: Press button [▲] and [▼] and then supply with power ,system will flash show [PP]
for 15 seconds .After that system shows [Pn] and all running parameters return to
default setting.

12.how to modify output status after auto-learning completion


Method 1 :supply with power and system shows [FY] ,then press button [▲] on the panel .
When system show [-A] or “user appointed running code “, release it. System shows
[Pn] which can auto adjust for user demand. Choice [-0] to give up this operation.
Method 2: modify parameter “P”. Detail operation refers to charter 5.

13 .how to do auto-learning in 20% of the rated load?


Modify P0=04,after installation and auto-learning completion, system shows [PH]. Load 20%
of the rated load and then press button [▼] .When system displays [L1], adjustment is
complete. This auxiliary method when you cannot do auot-learing at rated load.

14. How to obtain production version?


press button [▼] and supply with the power ,system shows [L1][20][..][1.2] That means the
version is “ECW-L 200 V1.2”.

15. Principle of “ECW-L200” load weighing device
With the technological progress, load-weighing device has a great effect on elevator’s running
capability. It’s necessary for elevator that the load weighing device Sensitive, stable and
multi-function. With the development of sensor technology and micro PC, when car bottom has a
spring-loaded change with loading, Hall senor detects the offset. The controller computes and
corrects the offset in order to measure elevator load change. Cooperate with remote signal
transmitter ECW-AL1, we can afford long distance of analog and digital signal transformation,
which can extend the applicable range and low user cost.
