Evidence: The time is now

This evidence is divided into two parts: A composition and an audio file. Read the
instructions below and make sure you complete both tasks.

A. Answer the questions below. Use the examples as models of the grammar and
vocabulary you have to use.

1. Why didn’t you study English before? (List at least 5 reasons in a

composition.)

Example:

One of the reasons why I didn’t study English before it is because I thought it
was too difficult. I didn’t understand my English teacher at school and that
was frustrating.
 1) One of my reasons why I didn't study English before was because of the lack of
time, I didn't know how to organize my study schedules

2) Other of my reasons why I did not study English before was because I did not
understand my university professor and I found it very difficult to understand
the texts

3) One of my reasons why I did not study English before was because my father
had no money to pay for the course and it was impossible to study it in my city

4) One of my reasons why I didn't study English before was because I spent
training in sports school and that took my time

5) One of my reasons why I didn't study English before was because I didn't like it
2. How different would things be if you had learned English before? (Name and
explain at least 5 things.)

Example:

If I had learned English some years ago I would have accepted a job a
multinational company offered me five years ago. One of the requirements
was to speak English and my level back then was very low.

1) First for all, if i had learned English before, I would not feel so when i find
myself in need of speaking or understanding English and i succeed in doing so

2) I would not have let pass the opportunities to leave the country in
commission of work with the company which i work

3) I would have helped foreign tourists in several occacions when they ask me
something in English and i do not know what they are saying me

4) If i had taken English before, I would not be so difficult to do these virtual

courses

5) Would have served me too much in my studies

B. Record an audio file of yourself answering the following questions. Use the
examples as models of the grammar and vocabulary you have to use.
 1. Why are you studying English? (List and explain at least 4 reasons.)

Example:

I’m studying English because I finally decided that if I want to improve my

professional profile becoming bilingual is essential.

- I study English to graduate

- I study English to open doors in the labor field

- I'm studying English because I like the language

- I'm studying English because I want to visit the United States

2. In what ways are you going to benefit from this learning?

Example:

Being competent in English is going to increase the opportunities of landing a more

satisfying and better-paid job. We live in an international open market and English
is the most important language.
R:/ In this era, is necessary learn English because is a language universal,
the biggest enterprises require the knowledge from this, in my personal life i
enjoy learn new things
