The Indian Pharmaceutical Association (IPA)
founded in 1939, is the oldest premier association of
pharmaceutical professionals in India, with a
member base of over 13,000, spread across the
length and breadth of the nation. IPA operates in
India through 20 state branches and more than 46
local branches. The members represent various
facets of pharmaceutical profession viz., industry,
regulatory, community and hospital pharmacy
practices and education. As a member of the Drug
Technical Advisory Board, India, IPA is actively
involved in advising the government on matters of
professional importance.
RGUHS, Karnataka, a premier Health Science
University in India was established on 1st June
1996 at Bangalore by the Govt. of Karnataka
through its enactment of Rajiv Gandhi University of
Health Sciences, Karnataka Act 1994 to
encompass all the existing health science colleges
and institutions which were earlier affiliated to the
conventional universities in Karnataka with a
purpose of ensuring proper and systematic
instruction, teaching, training and research in
modern and Indian systems of medicine.

The professional synergies between Krupanidhi College of Pharmacy, Indian Pharmaceutical Association
(IPA) and Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS) has resulted in Krupacon 2019
The Research and Development (R&D) process is a critical stage in drug development in the Pharmaceutical
(Pharma) industry. The process starts after an initial candidate drug is identified and encompasses the
rigorous research tests that determine its therapeutic suitability. This includes factors like its affinity for the
biological target and interaction with biological systems. Pharma Krupacon 2019 is conceived to deliver the
bigger picture of a Pharmaceutical Industry, its current trends, tribulations and oppurtunities for aspirants as
well as seasoned professionals

The authors of winning abstracts are required to send full length research papers (not published, presented or communicated elsewhere)
within one week of the conference and the publication charges will be liable as per the journal guidelines. The selected full length research
article will be sent to Scopus Indexed Journal for publication based on their suitability.
