Terms & Conditions of Lloyds Inspection Agency

PART A ) OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS :

1. The subject mission is subject to the Lloyds Inspection Agency General Conditions of Services, an extract of which can be given upon
request.
2. The Client shall arrange safe access and provide necessary assistance to our Inspection Engineers, Technicians do the Inspection at
client yard and All Items to be inspected to be in one location.
3. One Man day to be calculated as 8 hrs.
4. Any Other charges met by LIA will be charged at actual cost.

PART B ) ACTUAL COSTS & EXPENSES -AS REQUIRED EACH / ONE MAN DAY VISIT / INSPECTIONS :

1. All other Actual expenses required for Travel / Train / Flight / Taxi / Lodging Etc to reach the location of Inspection & and to perform
the inspection by our Engineers will be met /or arranged by the Client itself with "Confirmation Mails" prior to inspections send to us
with details of arrangement.

2. After the 1st day of inspection on any visits and client / contractor / supplier ask to Continue for the next consecutive day for
continuous inspections then the client will pay Extra charges .

PART C ) OTHER GENERAL TERMS :

1. Our inspections are strictly restricted to Visual Inspection + Witness Tests only performed by the Client / Contractor / Customer /
Owner with Random Checks for Items / Materials / Machineries and extablish to us at the time of inspection day that the Item / Equipment
inspected is in order and for intended purposes .
2. Any abortive visits from the client side after reaching the site with confirmations will be charged @ the quoted rate per visit. 
3. Above charges are for one time visit irrespective of the test results. 
4. Client will provide All Guide Lines and Locations Details of Inspections & Tests Required.
5. The above scope of work will be executed only in above said location in India after the confirmation letter and purchase order
from CLIENT. 
6. All Test Equipment’s/tools/gauges/test loads for testing items/material/equipment’s to be arranged & tested by the Client.

7. Inspection Reports / Certificates will be issued in Maximum 3 Letter Heads for one day inspection Visit.
8. Lloyds Inspection Agency Pvt Ltd company don’t take any liability/responsibility issues, insurance coverage/guarantee/warrantee for
the Product/material/equipment offered for the Inspection.
9. Client shall intimate M/s. Lloyds Inspection Agency at least Minimum 10 Working Days (before/ ahead of the Inspection Schedule.
10. Inspection Report will Not Cover the Entire Container/ Cargo Shipped/Supplied and will be Restricted Only to the Visually Inspected
Items at the Time of Inspection & No Gross Weight / Tones / or Total Value will be Mentioned in the Reports. Review of Documents will not
cover the Packing/Packing List/Delivery Notes/Invoices/Quality/Guarantee/Warranty made by the Client/Supplier.

Part D ) Training & Certifications :

1. To conduct the training program need minimum 10 Persons/1 Batch.
2. PO has to send with the Actual Number of Candidates.
3. All the Courses will be Delivered and Issued by a Qualified Personnel Instructor / Inspector with experience in the same fields.
4. Timings will be decided based on the Mutual Agreement between Both the Companies and by Lloyds Inspection Agency Pvt Ltd
Company Terms.
5. Lloyds Inspection Agency Pvt Ltd Company will issue Certificates & ID Cards upon successful completion of the above course.
6. Transportation/Food & Snacks for the Trainees/Candidates for the training to our Lloyds Inspection Training Hall/Premises will be by
the Client responsibility.
7. The Certificate Contents for the scope of work will be based on the Course Candidates is attending upon Successful Completion.
8. For Trainings ( If Applicable )Lloyds Inspection Agency will provide the Training Hall in Our Premises for Theoretical, Practical (if
necessary) and Course Exams in our Facility in Mangaf Office (Near to HILTON Resort Hotel) with Video Demonstrations, Study Materials
and Others If Required.
9. Any non-conformity from the client side due to Non Availability of the Candidate at the Day of Training will be charged as per the
Actual Purchase Order Placed per Head, irrespective of the No of Candidates.

PART E ) PAYMENT TERMS :

1. On completion of the above scope of work an original Invoice along with Original Certificates will be issued along with Your Purchase
Order Issued and Payment to be made upon Delivery of Original Certificates along with the Invoice.
2. If Tax retentions of 5% will be made by the Client / Customer , an 5% Additional Amount will be added to the Total Amount Invoiced
.
