Dear Mr. Sapatos:

We are writing this letter for and behalf of our client, Mr. FERMIN DE LEON III
regarding your outstanding obligation in the amount of TWENTY NINE THOUSAND SIX
HUNDRED EIGHTEEN PESOS AND THIRTY CENTAVOS (P29,618.30) in which you
have issued checks, to wit:

However, upon presentment for cash and value, the checks you issued were
dishonored for the reason that you have issued the checks against insufficient funds
and then eventually a closed account.

Several demands had been made by our client to collect from you however all fell
on deaf ears.

As a matter of office policy, we try to exhaust all venues of settlement before we

recommend legal action to our clients. Thus, we are giving you five (5) days from receipt
hereof, within which to settle your financial obligations with our client in full, plus
TWENTY (20%) percent attorney’s fees. Should you fail to comply with this demand, we
shall be constrained to file the appropriate cases against you in court without further
notice.

In fact, our office has already prepared a case against you; however, for reasons
of equity and fairness, we are giving you this last chance to make good the amount due
to our client. Your failure to do so would be taken by us as sign of bad faith on your part
and we will be constrained to file the abovementioned case against you with the proper
court.

We would also wish to inform you that once a case has been filed in court, we
would not entertain any settlement unless the whole amount has been paid together
with its interest, Attorney’s fees, and cost of suit.

Please be guided accordingly.
