6. Conditions for D.G. Set

 a. Noise from the D.G. Set should be controlled by providing an acoustic
enclosure or by treating the room acousiically.
b. Industry should provide acoustic enclosure for conkol of noise. The
acoustic enclosure/ acoustic treatment of the foom should be designed
for minimum 25 dB (A) insertion loss or for meeting the ambient noise
standards, whichever is on higher side. A suitable exhaust mufflef with
insertion loss of 25 dB (A) shall also be provided. The measurement of
inse(ion loss will be done at different points at 0.5 meters from acouslic
enclosure/room and then average.
c, The industry shall take adequate measures for contfol of noise
levels from its own sources within the premises in respecl of noise to
less than 75 dB(A) duing day time and 70 dB(A) du ng the night
time. Day time is reckoned between 6 a.m. to 10 p.m and night time is
reckoned between 10 p.m to 6 a.m.
o. Industry should make efforts to bring down noise level due to DG set,
outside industrial premises, within ambient noise requiremenls by
prodr silting and control measures.
e. Installation of DG Set must be strictly in compliance with
recommendatiors of DG Sei manufacturer
A proper rouline and preventive mainlenance Procedure for DG set
should be set and followed in consultation with the DG manufaciufer
which would help to prevent noise leveis of DG set from deteriorating
with use
D.G. Set shall be operated only in case of power failure
The applicant should not cause.any nuisance in the surrounding area
due to ooeration of D.G. Set.

Standards for Sta;k Emissions:

(i) The applicant shall observe the following fuel pattern:-

i The applicant shall provide pofts in the chimney/(s) and facilities such as
ladder, platform etc. fof monitoring the air emissions and the same shall be
open for inspection to/and for use of the Board's Staff. The chimney(s) vents
attached to various sources of emission shall be designated by numbers such
as S-1, S-2, etc. and these shall be painted/ displayed to facilitate identificaiion.

(iv) The industry shall take adequate measures for control of noise levels from its
own sources within the premises so as to maintain ambient air quality standard
in respect of noise to less than 75 dB(A) during day time and 70 dB(A) during
night time. Day time is reckoned in between 6 a.m. and 10 p.m. and night time
is reckoned between 10 p.m- and 6 a.m.

(v) Other condilions:

1) The industry should not caus€ any nuisance in sunounding arca.

 v. The applicant shall not change or alter quanliiy, qualiiy, the rate of discharge,
temperalure or the mode of the effluenl / emissions or hazardous wastes or control
equipments provided for wilhout previous written permission of the Board.
vi. The applicant shall provide facility fof collection of environmental samples and
samples of trade and sewage effluents, air emissions and hazardous wastes to the
Board staff at the terminal or designated points and shall pay to ihe Board for the
services rendered in this behalf.

ix. The applicant shall install a separate eleclric meler showing the consumption of
energy for operation of domeslic and induslrial effluent treatment plants and
polluiion control system. A regisler showing consumplion of chemicals used for
keatmentthall be maintained.
Separate drainage system shall be paovided for collection of trade and sewage
effluenls. Terminal manholes shall be provided at the end of colleclion system with
arrangemenl for measuring the tlow. No effluent shall be admitted in lhe pipes /
sewefs down- stream of the terminal manholes. No effluent shall find ils way other
than in designed and provided collection System-
Neither storm water nor discharge from olher premises shall be allowed 10 mix with

laws, by-laws or regulations in force.

12. This Board reserves the r;ght to add / amend / revoke any condition in this
consent and the sameshall be binding on the applicant.
13. The Capital inveslment of the industry is Rs. 150.00 Lakhs.
