ANCHOR 1: Trump claims he put 'no pressure' on Zelensky despite White House
transcript. Here’s (complete name of reporter) for
the news.

REPORTER: Once viewed as a routine diplomatic encounter, US President Donald

Trump's first formal meeting with his Ukrainian counterpart was transformed
Wednesday into one of the most closely scrutinized encounters of his presidency as an
impeachment crisis mounts.

(Voice over / video)

The call has formed the basis for Democrats' impeachment probe, and has thrown
Trump's presidency into turmoil. But as camera shutters whirred, Trump and Zelensky
insisted nothing was untoward.

Trump insisted that there was no pressure and denied allegations that he was
using his position of power to prod Ukraine into investigating a political rival.
While Zelensky chimed in that nobody pushed him and denied that he felt
coerced by Trump to launch a probe. Instead, he suggested he was an unwilling
participant in an American political firestorm.

(Back to the Reporter)

When news emerged that an intelligence whistleblower had filed a complaint

related to Trump and Ukraine -- and later that it was related to Trump's July phone call
with Zelensky — White House officials began to view the meeting as an important venue
for Trump to counter Democratic accusations of wrongdoing.

REPORTER: Yes, (name of Anchorman/woman).

Darwin Dormitorio, the 20-year-old Philippine Military Academy cadet who died
from injuries sustained from hazing inside the military school, was laid to rest
Wednesday morning at his hometown of Cagayan de Oro City.

(Voice over / video)

Attendees became emotional as they shared their fond memories of Dormitorio at

the service, and at the same time showed overflowing support to the 4th class cadet's
family and loved ones.

Dormitorio's family thanked the Armed Forces of the Philippines for shouldering
the PMA cadet's wake and interment, as well as Interior Secretary Eduardo Año, Defense
Secretary Delfin Lorenzana, and colleagues of his father, who is also from PMA.

Jean Año, wife of Secretary Año and the grandmother of Dormitorio, said she
could not fathom the death of her grandson, noting that there won't be a whitewash and
"red cow" in the investigation.

(Back to the Reporter)

Dormitorio's family is leaving the investigation up to authorities, and is so far

contented with the "swift" action by the Armed Forces of the Philippines.

ANCHOR 1: And now we’re and you’re still watching Ruby News Patrol!

For the Business News, Philippines declares first African swine fever outbreak
near Manila after dead pigs found in some backyard farms in the Philippines tested
positive for African swine fever. For the whole report, here is
(complete name of reporter).

REPORTER: (Voice over / video)

The Department of Agriculture on Monday confirmed the presence of African

swine fever in the Philippines, but assured the public there was no epidemic and
vouched for the safety of pork products in the country.

Agriculture Secretary William Dar said that they received late last week the result
of what they call the polymerase chain reaction test which they submitted 20 blood
samples to the United Kingdom laboratory, and the result is that out of the 20 samples,
14 are positive.

(Back to the Reporter)

There is no vaccine against African swine fever and the only known method to
prevent the disease from spreading is a mass cull of affected livestock. The virus causes
hemorrhagic fever in pigs that ends in death, but it is not harmful to humans.

Former Pangasinan Gov. Amado Espino Jr. was wounded but is now out of danger
following an ambush on his vehicle, a Toyota Land Cruiser, on Wednesday, Sept. 11.
We have our Ruby News Patroler, (complete name of reporter). Can

REPORTER: Yes, (name of anchorman/woman). Espino’s group, police

said, was at the village of Magtaking in San Carlos City around 4:30 p.m. when the
gunmen attacked.

(Voice over / video)

The driver of former Pangasinan governor Amado Espino Jr. died on Thursday
night, a day after they were ambushed by at least 10 armed assailants in Barangay
Magtaking in this city.

Agapito Cuison died while being treated in the hospital for multiple gunshots to
the body, police said. Unidentified assailants in three vehicles waylaid and opened fire
at Espino’s convoy on Wednesday afternoon.

Despite being wounded, Cuison managed to drive Espino to the nearby Blessed
Family Doctor’s General Hospital. Espino suffered a gunshot to the right of side of his
body. He is now in stable condition.
One of Espino’s police escorts, S/Sgt. Richard Esguerra, died at the scene. Also
wounded in the ambush were S/Sgt. Jason Malsi and Espino’s aide Kervin Marbor who
were in a back-up Toyota Innova whose driver Anthony Columbino was unharmed. The
Philippine National Police has recovered two of the vehicles believed to have been used
by the suspects.

(Back to the Reporter)

(name of the anchorman/woman), Authorities have formed a special task

force to look into the incident. Espino was included in President Duterte’s list of
politicians allegedly involved in drugs. Duterte later acknowledged there was a mistake
and apologized to Espino. The Espino family condemned the attempt on the life of the
former governor. They asked the authorities to immediately solve the case.

ANCHOR 2: And we are back. Turkey group hacks actress Kris Bernal’s social media
accounts. Actress Kris Bernal on Sunday warned her social media followers to refrain
from entertaining messages from her accounts, after they were hacked by a “suspicious”
group from Turkey.

In a vlog posted on her official YouTube channel, the 30-year-old actress and
entrepreneur revealed that an unknown group hacked all of her online accounts,
including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and email, over the weekend.

Bernal, who turned emotional while filming the clip, said the hackers even tried
to call her, and asked her to pay $750 in exchange for her accounts’ retrieval.

“If they are asking money from you, kindly block and report the numbers calling
you. Please report to Instagram that my account has been hacked,” she said. “I have
followed all the process to retrieve but I still can't.”

man Gilas pool for SEA Games, here’s (complete name of reporter) for
the report.

REPORTER: Thank you, (name of the anchorman/woman). Six Barangay

Ginebra players are part of the Gilas Pilipinas pool lineup for the Southeast Asian (SEA)
Games announced by head coach Tim Cone Thursday.

(Voice over / video)

Being Ginebra's coach in the Philippine Basketball Association, familiarity played

a crucial role in Cone's decision to include his wards — LA Tenorio, Scottie Thompson,
Stanley Pringle, Japeth Aguilar, Greg Slaughter, and Art Dela Cruz.

Also part of the pool are TNT KaTropa's Jayson Castro, RR Pogoy, Troy Rosario,
San Miguel's Marcio Lassiter, Christian Standhardinger, Chris Ross, June Mar Fajardo,
Alaska's Vic Manuel, and Phoenix's Matthew Wright.

Given that the period to prepare for the biennial sports meet is limited, Cone said
he does not have much time to train players and teach his system.

(Back to the Reporter)

The Philippines is seeking its fifth straight gold medal in the basketball
competition of the SEA Games. The 2019 SEA Games will run from November 30 to
