PART – II

1. On a rainy day n people go to a party in a hotel. Each of them leaves his umbrella at the property
counter. Find the number of ways in which the umbrellas are, handed back to them after the party in
such a manner that no person receives his own umbrella.

2. Nine tiles labeled 1, 2, 3, ... , 9 are randomly divided between three players, three tiles each. Find the
probability that the sum of each player's tiles is odd.
