11 Providing , fabricating and fixing in position balcony railing SQM

using 40mm dia SS Brush Finish pipe as hand rail as horizontal,

40x10mm SS Brush Finish flat to receive hand rail @ 900mm c/c as
verticals , the SS fixed to the true alignment , anchored to masonry /
concrete with appropriate fixing arrangement , making good the
surface at the point of fixing and finishing smooth, including cutting ,
welding , grinding,Buffing. Fixing 12mm thk Toughened glass to
the verticals with necessary patch fittings complete all as per design ,
specification, drawing and directions.

12 Providing, fabricating and fixing MS railings with 40 X 10 mm RM

M.S. Flat as railing & 250mm vertical supports using 40 x 10mm M.S.
flat @ 800mm c/c, over parapet/compound wall as per drawing,
fixing the handrail in position in RCC/masonry using
approved/appropriate means as directed, including welding
(where necessary), grouting scraping, sand paper, waxing, and making
good the chasing/holes made to fix, applying one coats of anticorrosive
paint for all the steel surface, To note that all flats/square & round bars
shall be bright bars, etc complete all as per specification, drawing and
direction.

13 Providing, fabricating and fixing in position M.S. Gate made of SQM

50x50 MS box sections frame, 40x10mm flats, 12mm dia rods, fixed to
the masonry / RCC member using appropriate approved means, with
the other sections such as MS angle, MS square bars, etc, including
cutting, welding, grinding, providing hinges, handles, locking
arrangements, applying two or more coats of approved color &
shade synthetic enamel paint over a coat of anticorrosive paint for all
the steel surface, waxing, etc complete all as per specification, drawing
and direction. To note that all flats/square & round bars shall be bright
bars (The weight of the gate shall be not exceeding 2.00 Kg per Sq
ft.)

E WATER PROOFING
1 Providing and laying cinder concrete 1:15 (1 cement: 15 cinder) well CUM
mixed, filled in sunken portion and the top surface finished with 40mm
thick M20 grade concrete using 20mm and down size graded granite
aggregates to receive flooring, including tamping, consolidating,
curing, etc; complete all as per specification drawing and direction.
2 Providing and laying Screed concrete of 40mm thick M15 SQM
concrete using 20mm and down size graded granite to receive flooring
, including tamping , consolidating , curing , etc., complete all as
per specification drawing and directions.

3 Preparing of the surface in, sunken portion in Toilets, such SQM

other places and plastering in CM 1:3 mixed with waterproof ad-
mixture as per manufacture’s specification approved by Consultants
with a Minimum guarantee period of 10 (ten) years (FOSROC make
used as per the manufacturer's specification) and finished
smooth/sand faced/rough, including curing, scaffolding etc;
complete all as per specification and direction and drawing. Plan area
will be measured and paid for.

4 Providing waterproofing for terrace including cleaning and brushing SQM

the concrete surfaces. Providing waterproofing for Terrace by
surface method of average thickness 110mm with waterproof ad-
mixture of TAPE CRATE as per manufacture’s specification approved
by Consultants with a Minimum guarantee period of 10 (ten) years.
Cost to include cement slurry with water proofing compound applied
over the surface.(Plan area will be measured and paid for)

5 Preparing of the surface of Lift Well Pit / Retaining wall, such other SQM
places and plastering in CM 1:3 mixed with waterproof ad- mixture as
per manufacture’s specification approved by Consultants with a
Minimum guarantee period of 10 (ten) years (FOSROC make used as
per the manufacturer's specification) and finished smooth/sand
faced/rough, including curing, scaffolding etc; complete all as per
specification and direction and drawing. Plan area will be measured
and paid for.

6 Providing and laying of surkhi concrete weather proof course SQM

(WPC) of average thickness 100mm, laid to required gradient using
25mm nominal size brickbats and burnt lime in 1:2 (1 part burnt lime:
2 parts brick bats), laid, rammed and finished with belgiri treatment,
including finishing the surface and making it waterproof etc., complete
all as per specifications, drawings and directions.
