1. User Management
1.1 Administrator Operations
To ensure data security of the device, you can operate the device only after the administrator password is
authenticated.
Register Administrator Fingerprint
 Press[*]+[#]
 Enter Administrator Password [1234#]
 Press Administrator fingerprint three times
 Press [*] to exit
Change Administrator Fingerprint
 Press[*]+[#]
 Press Administrator fingerprint
 Press [8]
 Press New Administrator Fingerprint three times
 Press [*] to exit

1.2 Add New Users
Each user can have 10 fingerprint and 1 card in the device.
 Press[*]+[#]
 Press Administrator fingerprint
 Press [#]
 Input user ID + [#]
 Press fingers three times or swipe the card once
 Press [#], go on Input user ID or Press [*] to exit

1.3 Register Eight Passwords for Opening the door


The device supports 8 passwords, each password has a Group ID arranges from 1~8.
The default password value is 0000 for all groups, which means passwords are disabled.
 Press[*]+[#]
 Press Administrator fingerprint
 Press [3]
 Enter the group ID (1~8)
 Enter the password (the password should be 4 number) + [#] (the first time)
 Enter the password (the password should be 4 number) + [#] (the second time)
 Press [*] to exit

1.4 User Authentication


Authenticate Users’ Fingerprints/Cards/Passwords
After the device is powered on, it enters the authentication state for users to unlock the door.
 Device is on authentication state
 Press fingerprints, sipe cards, or enter passwords + [#]
 Authentication successfully
NOTE: Press # after entering a password for authentication. The door opens if the entered password is
identical with one of the 8 passwords for opening the door. The default 8 passwords for opening the door
are empty.

1.5 Delete Users


Delete fingerprint or card for a single user, and delete all users.
Delete Single User
 Press[*]+[#]
 Press Administrator fingerprint
 Press [2]
 Enter a user ID, press the fingerprint, or swipe the card
 Press [*] to exit
Note:
the device automatically enters the process of deleting the next user when a user is deleted
Delete All User
 Press[*]+[#]
 Press Administrator fingerprint
 Press [9]+[#]
 Press [*] to exit

2 Access Control Management


2.1 Configure Unlocking Duration
 Press[*]+[#]
 Press Administrator fingerprint
 Press [4]
 Enter the unlocking duration. (range: 1s~10s) +[#]
 Press [*] to exit

2.2 Configure Authentication Mode


 Press[*]+[#]
 Press Administrator fingerprint
 Press [5]
 Enter the authentication mode+[#]
 Press [*] to exit

2.3 Configure Door Sensor Mode


 Press[*]+[#]
 Press Administrator fingerprint
 Press [0]+[5]
 Configure the door sensor mode.(0:NO; 1:NC; 2:None) +[#]
 Press [*] to exit

The door sensor has three modes:


 None: the door sensor is disabled.
 NO(Normally Open): the door sensor will send alarm signal if it detects the door is closed.
 NC(normally Close): the door sensor will send an alarm signal if it detects the door is open.
2.4 Configure Alarm

Configure Alarm setting


The alarm switch is turned on by default. When it’s disabled, the Error Operation-Triggered Alarm, Tamper
Alarm, the Alarm Delay for the door Status Sensor will be disabled.
 Press[*]+[#]
 Press Administrator fingerprint
 Press [0]+[1]
 Configure the alarm setting.(0:enable; 1:disable) +[#]
 Press [*] to exit

Configure Error Operation-Triggered Alarm


If this function is enabled, alarms will be generated if the administrator fails the authentication upon three
attempts; the administrator authentication is not allowed within 20 seconds after an alarm is generated..
 Press[*]+[#]
 Press Administrator fingerprint
 Press [0]+[2]
 Configure the error operation-triggered alarm switch.(0:enable; 1:disable) +[#]
 Press [*] to exit

Configure Tamper Alarm


If this function is enabled, alarms will be generated when device is dismantled from the wall.
Configure whether to enable the disassembly alarm.
 Press[*]+[#]
 Press Administrator fingerprint
 Press [7]
 Configure whether to enable the tamper alarm.(0:enable; 1:disable) +[#]
 Press [*] to exit

Configure Alarm Delay for the Door Status Sensor


It is to configure the time how long would the door sensor to check the door status.
 Press[*]+[#]
 Press Administrator fingerprint
 Press [0]+[4]
 Configure the alarm delay.(range: 1s to 254s) +[#]
 Press [*] to exit
