The teacher will present words containing types of Figures of Speech. On the other
hand, pieces of meta strips containing sentences that will be placed at the table and each
group will match the sentences at the side of each words.

The teacher will present a poem containing the Figures of Speech and learners have to
identify the different types of Figures of Speech based on the given poem.

Identify the following Figures of Speech based on the given examples:

3. It cost a billion dollars
4. She is a night owl.
5. Whoosh!!!
V. Assignment:
Give at least 5 examples of the different types of Figures of Speech. Write it on your lecture
notebook.
