15) Transfer the 4 corner points on railing & check Length, Breadth &
Diagonals.
16) Measure & mark all column centerline on railing on either side of
X & Y direction.
20) Confirm all numbering is neat & visible from at least 50’ distance
(painting preferably to be done by professional painter).
21) D&D to verify & certify the accuracy for the centerline.
B) ENVIRONMENT
1) Before the start of site cleaning, sprinkle water to reduce dust and
prevent air pollution
2) Use mask, safety shoes for site cleaning and line out.

grid to derive the excavated quantity for that particular strata.

7) Take the strata checked for first footing from RCC consultant &
obtain the certificate. Record the same in M&M Register.
9) Confirm that excavation pit size doesn’t exceed by 2 feet than footing
size.
10) Remove all loose material & confirm that excavated pit is fairly
leveled.
B) ENVIRONMENT
5) Excavate the entire pit in 45 – degree angle and shore all the area if
excavation is in loose soil, and below 2m depth.

14) Check the proportion of Anti termite chemical & water as per the
specification i.e. 1:99 (100 lit of mix contains 1 lit of chemicals & 99 lit
of water).
15) Ensure the drills in the plinth are adequate per Square Meter of the
area to be treated.
16) Pour/spread the anti termite mix (Chemical + Water) over the area
and reconcile the quantity to ensure the adequate utilization; (5 lit of
mix per Sq.m. is the decided criteria).
17) Restrict the area to other labours, to ensure they are not affected by
the emission/ smell of the said mix.
18) See that the operator cleans his hands properly before handling any
other material / food.
19) Ensure that no material is left out at the stores or working place after
work is completed.
20) Ensure that disposal of empty tins from the site is done by the same
agency immediately.
21) Display the MSDS of the chemical at site office & stores as well.

4) Clean the pit & give the level data minimum 100 mm thick or as
specified in R.C.C. drawing. Make a shuttering box 100mm thk of
required dimension.
6) Ensure the supports to have true line, level & plumb of shuttering.
8) Incase of highwater table start PCC only after the Pit is dry. Keep
minimum one standby pump at site, so that work does not get
delayed/wrong procedures followed during casting
11) Pour the concrete in position from a height not more than 5’0” to
avoid segregation.
12) Erect “Pour Shoot” or working platform to pour the concrete from
depth more than 5’0”.
15) Remove the shuttering next day by taking upmost care to maintain
the edges & corners of the concrete intact.

QEHS WORK INSTRUCTIONS FOR RMC PLANT
TITLE :
OPERATION.
4. WORK INSTRUCTIONS:-
1) INPUTS :-
Following are considered as inputs to this procedure.
1) Concrete requirements received from site,
2) Raw material received from supplier,
3) Mix design.
2) PROCESS / OPERATION :-
PLANNING :-
3) If a quantity of diesel is less, fill the diesel in proper quantity & record it
in a register, also the quantity of diesel in DG checked before concreting
gets starts.
4) Ensuring that, all the mix designs are properly set in a control panel of
batching plant.
6) Only passed material is released for further processing & only kept at
stock / site/ store.
ACTIVITIES / OPERATION:-
1) As per the requirement of concrete from site, particular grade of
concrete is set to deliver the concrete.
2) Plant operator sets the quality of material on control panel as per the
mix design of particular grad of concrete.
6) After completion of batch of 6 cum. then 6 nos. of cube casted for each
grade of concrete for particular day. 6 cubes are casted for every 50 cum
of each grade.
8) Cubes are tested on CTM at 7 days & 28 days of interval at RMC plant,
for compressive strength purpose.
9) Before unloading of the RMC at the site, the challan is to be signed the
store keeper and the site engineer. Clearly stating the grade and
quantity of concrete and the location of unloading.

QEHS WORK INSTRUCTIONS FOR RMC PLANT
TITLE :
OPERATION.
RECONCILLATION:-
1) Consumption of material is checked, whether it goes as per mix design
or not.
2) The empty cement bags are then counted & checked with the
consumption report & also checked whether all the cement bags are
stacked properly with any leakages inside.
3) Before closing the plant, seal must be there for diesel tank of every TM,
Q.C. Lab, Computer cabin, Cement godown etc.

1) PVC Farma of above mention size issued from store after checking by Senior Engineer.
3) Mix the Cement & Crush Sand in Ratio of 1:2 in the tray. Water is added till get hand
paste. Cement, Crush Sand & water is mixed with spade properly. Now Cement, Crush
Sand paste is ready. We should ensure that prepared paste should consumed within 1
Hours. This is the normal method of mixing of normal grade of Concrete.

4) For Higher grade of concrete, we mention the water cement ratio while mixing with
crush sand of required grade of concrete cover.
5) Pastes is poured in farma over plane M.S. Hard surface & compacted with trowel &
maintain the top surface equal with PVC Farma .Now remove the farma by keeping
molded mortar on the same position. Same process continues on another adjacent
surface area.
7) For Slab cover Block, Round notch of Ø 10mm & 2mm depth is provided in 20mm
depth cover Block.
8) For round cover of column : Round mould paste is placed over hard surface & than hole
of Ø 10mm is done with the help of M.S.Rod in the centre of mould cover Block.
9) Next day all molded C.M. Block of Same grade is Kept in to Cement Bag & then Put in
to water tank for Curing up to 14 days.
10) Daily C.M. Block making quantity is counted & record send to H.O.
B) ENVIRONMENT:-
1) Open Cement bag by removing stitches & unload directly in beaching / mixing plant
to prevent west of cement.
2) Do not throw / drop cement bags to prevent air pollution by dust separation.

4. WORK INSTRUCTIONS :-
Shuttering :
1) Ensure the approved Good for Construction, R.C.C. & Architectural drawing with
revision status.
2) Ensure the required level of footing & mark the center along with all four corner of
footing size over P.C.C. with the help of centerline boundary or Total Station.
3) Clean the surface & start shuttering as shape & size mentioned in R.C.C. Drawing.
5) Sides of Shuttering are supported laterally by M.S. Props & Wooden Chavi at 2’0”
c/c at bottom & top. Support may insure if footing size are heavy as per S.I.
instruction. Bottom portion of side is locked by wooden Patti 4” X1 ½” with the help
of nails over PCC. All four corners of shuttering from top is provided diagonally
cross wooden Patti 4”X 1 ½” for fixing of corners in position.
6) Line, Level, Size & Plumb of shuttering should be perfect, if not set perfect than
rectified till Ok.
Reinforcement:
1) Reinforcement starts laying for Jali & column as per length & shape indicated in
R.C.C. Drawing.
2) Position & Orientation of reinforcement check & get ok with the help of linedoori,
Plumb & cover for reinforcement provided properly.
3) Now finally checked the shuttering & reinforcement at a time & instruction issued for
casting footing after everything Ok as per drawing.

Concreting:
1) Concrete prepared at site by mixer or placed order to R.M.C. Plant as per mix
specified in R.C.C. Drawing.
2) For small footing concreting done by mixer & wheel Barrow, if footing size is more
than 10 cum. than concreting done by concrete pump.
3) If concreting done by mixer RM 800 than mix design set into panel & Labour gang set
for filling of Aggregates, Cement & Admixture in mixer delivered. Concrete
delivered in wheel barrow or Concrete Pump.
4) Concrete grout is passed through pipe line Just before starting concrete. Transit mixer
shute placed over concrete pump hopper. Concrete delivered in to Pump suit & than
concrete transport up to req. position by pressure system.
5) Concrete is done by concrete pump than pipe line of pump is placed up to concrete
delivered point. Oil & diesel checked before starting Pump.
6) Concrete is vibrated by 60mm needle for proper vibration & labour gang spread the
concrete with the help of spades.
7) Concrete get over after filling up to required depth & set finish with the help of
mason properly.
8) 6 Cube cast for checking strength of concrete in 7 days & 28 days. With Coding as
date of Casting, Location of structure, Grade of concrete.
1) Remove the shuttering after 24 hours by taking up most care to maintain the edges &
corners of the concrete.

4. WORK INSTRUCTIONS:-
SHUTTERING:-
1) Ensure the approved Good for construction, R.C.C. & Architectural drawings with
revision status.
2) Make the column size mould with the help of 12mm P.C.Ply & 3”x2”x8’ wooden batten.
Batten is fixed over ply @ 10” c/c vertically. Both end of ply has also horizontal batten
along the width. Batten is fixed on edge over ply by 1 ½” Nails.
3) First we cast starter of column having height 6” after erecting proper steel & ring in
column with req. cover. Starter ensures the line, level & size of column at surface level.
level. Distance and diagonals & Centre lines are checked strictly with respect to
building face.
4) Makes farma of column is Erecting over starter with the help of shikanja. Then M.S.
shoulder is placed with tie rod & nut, all four sides in such a way that 1st Shoulder
should fixed over the starter, than 1’6” & there after 2’0” c/c up to top end. All Tie rods
are tight with the help of nut.
5) Lubricant should apply over the inner surface of ply before erecting form & false work.
7) Line, level, orientation, size, rectangle, plumb checked by Jr. Engineer/ Sr. Engineer &
Q.A. Permission issued for pouring concrete.
REINFORCEMENT:-
1) Reinforcement of column is cut & band in steel yard as per R.C.C. drawing & placed in
existing reinforcement with appropriate lap. Rings provided as per mention in
drawing. Cover for reinforcement provided in center & top of column as specified in
drawing. Round precast concrete cover with centre whole are fixed at bottom & top on
all four faces before erecting shuttering.

column is heavy than it pourd by concrete pump.
3) Concrete filled till level marked & finished by trowel. Vibrator needle of 60 is placed till
get concrete is proper compacted.
4) Position of column rechecked 12 hours after de-shuttering & hessian cloth wounded for
curring up to 14 days to 28 days.
7) Record for work process, measurements & checked is recorded in M & M in process
activity register (QAD/702), daily signed by Q.A. /S.I.

4. WORK INSTRUCTIONS :-
Shuttering :
1) Ensure the approved Good for Construction, R.C.C. & Architectural drawing with
revision status.
2) Making of ply for beam bottom & sides of beam. Beam bottom is made with
12mm P.C.Ply with two Nos of 4”x1 ½” wooden Patti. Beam side is made with
12mm P.C.Ply as required size in drawing with 4”x1 ½” batten @ 10” c/c along
length & both end in width.Making of ply is made as described above method for
waist slab & Landing.Riser of specified size is also made with Ply supported by 4”
X 1 ½” wooden Batten on both end along the length.
3) Level mark on column for fixing beam bottom as per Landing/Floor height
mention on drawing.
4) Topi of beam bottom fixed over column as per req. depth of beam & than beam
bottom rest over them with vertical props support @ 2’ c/c. wooden chavi 4”x3”
placed as cantilever if projection of Chajja is required.
5) Outer beam side erect over beam bottom with the help of nails. Making sides are
also placed over cantilever chavi 4”x3”, if projection is required.
6) Span is placed @ 2’0” c/c as per concreting thickness of Landing size & span edge
rest over 4”x3” wooden chavi with vertical M.S.Props at 2’0” c/c.
7) Now wooden Chavi 4”x3” of required length @ 10” c/c is placed across the span,
than P.C. Ply is laid over with nails as per size of Landing. We should take care
that there should be no gap between two ply. Now shuttering for waist Slab is
placed diagonally matching with top & bottom landing. Wooden chavi of 4”X3”
of req. length is placed on the bottom face of waist Slab @ 1’ 6”.Chavi is supported
by M.S. Props @ 2’ C/C. Shuttering of first landing is goes to 300mm more than
the size of Landing & Second Landing as less than 300 mm by landing size. Steps

by Sr. Engineer, Surface of ply cleaned by Vacuum cleaner & lubricant apply.
Now clearance given to reinforcement contractor for laying steel.
8) After laying steel, outer side of beam is fixed with the inclined supported of 4”x1
½”, wooden Patti in center & top. Chajja side is also fixed with making Ply &
supported given from cantilever wooden chavi. Outer line is checked properly
with the help of linedoori.
9) Beam bottom is clamped with shikanja & middle top portion is supported by
wooden Patti & 4”x1 ½” taking support from span chavi.
10) All M.S. props is braced by 2”dia. M.S. Pipe with the help of swing coupler.
11) All column junctions are closed properly in shape, size & clamped by shikanja all
around.
12) Remove the excess shuttering materials stacked below the slab level.
Reinforcement:
1) Reinforcement is cut & bend in steel yard as per required size & position. Specified
in RCC Drawing.
2) Cut & bend steel is placed over slab manually or by crane. Tagging start by
binding wire with proper placement of steel. Ring is also provided for Beams &

7) Now we can pour the concrete in Staircase, beam, and chajja after rectification
done.
Concreting:
1) Before starting concreting, we check the condition of R.M.800 mixer, lift hoist &
concrete pump. Diesel & Oil is filled if machine is diesel.
2) One mason with Randha, Patti, spatula is required for finishing concrete surface.
3) Vibrator of needle 40mm dia. & 60mm dia. are kept over slab with one stand by.
4) Concrete filling level is marked over beam side & column for maintaining surface.
Concrete filling Kanda is also provided to mason for checking randomly.
2) Mix design set in panel for required weight of Aggregate, Cement, Sand & water.
3) Aggregate & cement placed into mixer manually, till getting correct required at
display, mixer takes water automatically. Admixture placed manually by
measuring Jar.
4) Concrete is mixed & unloaded in suit of lift & concrete lifted through hoist &
dump in tray over the surface of slab.
5) Concrete is transported at required place with the help of wheel barrow. Wheel
barrow runs over the surface of making ply side laid up to required position.

2) Make the Pardi size mould with the help of 12mm P.C.Ply & 3”x2”x8’ wooden
batten. Batten is fixed over ply @ 10” c/c vertically. Both end of ply has also
horizontal batten along the width. Batten is fixed on edge over ply by 1 ½” Nails.
3) First we cast starter of Pardi having height 6” after erecting proper steel & ring in
Pardi with req. cover. Starter ensures the line, level & size of Pardi at surface
level.Distance and diagonals & Centre lines are checked strictly with respect to
building face.
4) Makes farme of Pardi as Erecting over starter with the help of shikanja. 50mm
X50mm Square M.S. Pipe is placed along length @ 1’ 6” C/C over the Batten of
Ply. Then M.S. shoulder is placed with tie rod & nut, all sides in such a way that
1st Shoulder should fixed over the starter, than 1’6” & there after 2’0” c/c up to top
end. Shoulder /Joint Channel which placed over square pipe with the help of Tie
rod @ 2’ 6” C/C . All Tie rods are tight with the help of nut & tie rod pass through
1” PVC conduit betn two face of shuttering. So that Tie rod need not to lock with
concrete.
5) Lubricant should apply over the inner surface of ply before erecting form & false
work.
7) Line, level, orientation, size, rectangle, position, plumb are checked by Jr.

REINFORCEMENT:-
1) Reinforcement of Pardi is cut & band in steel yard as per R.C.C. drawing & placed
in existing reinforcement with appropriate lap. Rings provided as per mention in
drawing. Cover for reinforcement provided in center & top of Pardi as specified in
drawing. Round precast concrete cover with centre whole are fixed at bottom &
top on all four faces before erecting shuttering.
2) For small Pardi concrete placing is done by manually with spade & ghamella. If
Pardi is heavy than it pourd by concrete pump.
3) Concrete filled till level marked & finished by trowel. Vibrator needle of 60 is
placed till get concrete is proper compacted.
4) Position of Pardi rechecked 12 hours after de-shuttering & hessian cloth wounded

Apply 1’-0” ht smooth ghotai plater at skirting level as shown.

Check the P.V.C chicken mesh 6” wide patta used for all R.C.C &
masonry joints & over the concealed conduits.
Ensure tachya 50 no. / Sft. for beam , column, ceiling, loft/lintel cills.
Before calling QAD. For NOC.
Get the NOC from ( QAD/Gyp/501) for the commencement of Gyp.
Check the Gyp cutting on wall 7” from slab level to avoid excessive
but finishing /waviness in Buttfinishing.
Check all the dhars made rounded by using farmas it should be 5mm
rounded.
Use kerakol P-5 chemical for ceiling before application of Gyp.
Kerakol P-5 chemical to be used 1:1:3 – mix 1part chemical +1part
cement +3parts of water application by brush to avoid debonding of
ceiling Gyp.
Keracol has suppose to give Guarantee certificate of chemical
bonding.
Ensure the consumption. - 1.0 lit / 165 sft.
Check the reference level marked on beam 9” below the ceiling level.
Check rest ceiling gyp done in line not in level tube & should not
found any waviness by visual.
Check for maindoor & bedroom doors , opening one side & top is
finished in Gyp to fix the wooden door frame.
Check the ceiling Dhadda at corners with reference to level marked

6) Clean the surface by Sand Paper No 100 for wall & Ceiling & clean by
Dry Cloth.
7) For 1stCoat of primer of approved brand, mix 1 litre primer to 100ml of
Turpentine thoroughly.
8) Apply 1st coat primer with brush uniformly.
9) Drying period for Primer minimum 12 to 24 hrs.it should not be
elongated more than 15 days.
10) Prepare lambi by mixing 20kg whitening powder with 6 litre of water &
2 litre of oil paint .
11) Apply lambi with Palti patra in line & level.
12) Ensure proper finish at dhar ,kutch & Jambs.
13) After completely drying of 1st coat lambi , apply 2nd coat as per above
procedure with proper surface finish.Thickness of lambi should not be
more than 2mm including 1st & 2nd Coat.
14) Ensure surface should be in line, level without any undulation.
15) After completely drying of 2nd coat, lambi start sanding by the wall
surface with sand paper No.150 & clean with dry cloth.
16) Prepare the Aster (Base) coat paint by mixing 1 litre of Primer with 1
litre of oil paint(1:1 Ratio) & add 300ml Turpentine in the mixture.
17) Apply Aster (base)coat by brush & finish immediately by roller Apply
it Vertically & horizontally.
18) Next day any cracks/surface damage, scratches observed will be filled
by putty & paint touchup.
19) After completing crack filling & paint touchup, 1st coat of Luster paint
should start.
20) Prepare mix for luster paint by mixing 1 litre of luster with 100 to 125
ml of Turpentine.

26) Apply 2nd coat of plastic paint with proper paint cutting at wall &
ceiling with most care of application with same above procedure & mix.
27) Ensure that no brush mark, air bubble, roller strip, shine .
28) Clean all the paint stain after final painting.

4) Ensure that Main Door Shutter & Aluminium Window are Fixed.
5) Put on the mask before starting any scraping/painting activity, while
cleaning the surface ensure Doors & Windows are closed/covered so as to
prevent spreading of paint smell /emission.
6) First clean the the wall surface with wire brush, Sand paper (150 grit) or
blade (patra) to remove all loose material (Cement mortar/gypsum).
7) Pre-wet/dampen the wall with water by brush or roller.
8) Mix putty of approved brand with water in ratio 2:1 . Mixing should be
done by machine to make thick paste. Maximum 10kg of putty mix with 5
litre of Water at one time.
9) Apply first coat of putty with blade starting from bottom upwards. Keep
the thickness of 1st Coat upto 1.2mm.
10) Wait for complete drying, it takes 3 to 4 hrs.
11) No need of sanding after 1st coat. Apply 2nd coat of putty with blade.
Thickness of 2nd Coat is nearly half the thickness of 1st coat (i.e
0.6mm).Keep total thickness of putty(1st + 2nd coat) upto 1.8mm on
gypsum surface.
12) Sanding the surface after 2 days with fine Emery paper (400 grit) to
remove blade scratch mark & make surface smooth.
13) Prepare Oil paint mix by mixing 1 ltr Oil paint with 150 ml turpentine.
14) Apply 1st Coat of Oil Paint from Top to Bottom with 4" brush than finish
immediately with roller applied vertically & horizontally.
15) Leave the paint surface to dry at least One Day.
16) Before applying 2nd coat ensure that all electrical accessories /door
fitting & melamine Polish door shutter to be covered.
17) Ensure that all dents/scratches/undulation properly filled & finished.
18) Ensure all touchup marks work to be painted before 2nd coat painting.
19) Apply 2nd coat paint with proper paint cutting at wall & ceiling with
most care of application with same above procedure.
20) Ensure that no brush mark, air bubble, roller strip, shine.
21) Clean all the paint stain after painting.

2. Preventive maintenance schedules are strictly adhered to ensure that all plant and
machinery are systematically inspected, serviced, repaired and maintained as
necessary. Brakes are checked regularly.
3. Non-essential personnel are kept well away from the area of operation and trained
signal man are provided wherever necessary.
6. Moving vehicles are fitted with proper rear view mirror and reversing alarms.
Vehicles are not moved in reverse without directions from cleaner.
7. Employees and workmen working in the vicinity of earth moving operations are
working with safety helmets, shoes, eye-glasses, if required.
8. Sleeping / resting under or rear side of vehicle like Tippers, Hyvas, Hydra,
Tractors, etc. are strictly prohibited. This is checked by watchman appointed at
various locations. No unauthorized person is allowed to enter in driver’s cabin.
9. Vehicles are not parked on a slope for push starting, if battery is weak. All vehicles
are having self-starter.
10. No workman other than operator is allowed to sit / ride on stationery or moving
tower crane, mobile crane etc. No. passengers are allowed in operator’s cabin.
11. Walky talky is provided, if required for better communication between crane
operator and lifting gang.
13. Operating any machine beyond its design limits can damage the machine & it can
cause very serious accidents. Any machine is not overloaded.
14. The engine of any machine has exposed rotating parts. Engine cover is not opened
while the engine is running. All other guards & protective devices are in place
while operating any machine.
15. While using excavator, because of long boom & dipper arm, one must be very
careful when slewing. Operator should not slew quickly and strike the dipper arm
against any obstacle.
16. Loose clothing is not used by operator as it can catch in moving parts of machine
and cause serious accidents.
17. While lifting the load by crane, nobody should work / stand in the crane coverage
area.
18. Ensure the use of air plug while working in noisy area to avoid deafness / irritation
to individuals.

be collected everyday and kept in designated area for reuse /

2. Preventive maintenance schedules are strictly adhered to ensure that all plant and
machinery are systematically inspected, serviced, repaired and maintained as
necessary. Brakes are checked regularly.
3. Non-essential personnel are kept well away from the area of operation and trained
signal man are provided wherever necessary.
6. Moving vehicles are fitted with proper rear view mirror and reversing alarms.
Vehicles are not moved in reverse without directions from cleaner.
7. Employees and workmen working in the vicinity of earth moving operations are
working with safety helmets, shoes, eye-glasses, if required.
8. Sleeping / resting under or rear side of vehicle like Tippers, Hyvas, Hydra,
Tractors, etc. are strictly prohibited. This is checked by watchman appointed at
various locations. No unauthorized person is allowed to enter in driver’s cabin.
9. Vehicles are not parked on a slope for push starting, if battery is weak. All vehicles
are having self-starter.
10. No workman other than operator is allowed to sit / ride on stationery or moving
tower crane, mobile crane etc. No. passengers are allowed in operator’s cabin.
11. Walky talky is provided, if required for better communication between crane
operator and lifting gang.
13. Operating any machine beyond its design limits can damage the machine & it can
cause very serious accidents. Any machine is not overloaded.
14. The engine of any machine has exposed rotating parts. Engine cover is not opened
while the engine is running. All other guards & protective devices are in place
while operating any machine.
15. While using excavator, because of long boom & dipper arm, one must be very
careful when slewing. Operator should not slew quickly and strike the dipper arm
against any obstacle.
16. Loose clothing is not used by operator as it can catch in moving parts of machine
and cause serious accidents.
17. While lifting the load by crane, nobody should work / stand in the crane coverage
area.
18. Ensure the use of air plug while working in noisy area to avoid deafness / irritation
to individuals.

iv) Do not allow the POP sheets getting mixed up with water. Only the POP
powder is mixed after the fixing of sheets and the POP paste is used with
care to finish the joint, if any.

Podium slab should below the stilt floor slab by maximum 6” for
ramp of 1:6 gradient(Consider 3”trimix over podium slab) and give
the slope to stilt slab same as slope of podium slab. Accordingly cast
the Podium slab & Stilt slab of building. Also check the unsupported
height of column which should be within the specified limit.
12) Provide 3” P.C.C for ramp keeping top 2.5” below Tremix top level at
road side and same as stilt slab top level at building parking side.
13) Fix the granite or kadappa patti 7” width at the entry of parking.
14) Level marking on Entry column and wall keeping slope of 1:10
towards granite patti from other end. Fix the chequered tile in mortar
bed of proportion 1:10. (Take 50% Crush sand and 50% River sand
chal )
16) Fill the 10mm joint between two granite pieces by cement, finish the
joint 2mm below the granite top surface & curing done for 3 days.
