I.TARGET GROUP

We all know that a child spends 8 to 10 hours and the rest at home. Knowing so, the
parents of these children must know, if not learn to promote the best learning experience for their
child/children. Our main target group is the children in and out of school in Barangay Mayombo
but the children are not our only priority; the parents too are concerned here. And the best way to
solve this problem is to take it to the source; the parents. To make a long story short, the children
as well as the parents are our target group for this activity.

II. PROBLEM ANALYSIS

Based on the gathered data most of the children under the age group of 4 – 6 aren’t able to
attend school due to financial problems which leads to deficiency to buy some educational
materials. Hence, The following problems are to be mentioned:

1.POVERTY
2.LACK OF SCHOOL SUPPLIES
3. UNSUPPORTABLE PARENTS
4.BAD ENVIRONMENT
5.LAZINESS

III. OBJECTIVES

The first objective was to provide much needed supplies to students, thereby enabling
them to better prepare for the academic challenges they would face in the coming school year.
The purpose of this study is to look at the current situations of the ‘out-of-school’ children and
youth as well as to find a way to assist them through the activities provided by related
organizations. The insights gained from this study will then help to develop a lifelong education
model for the ‘out-of-school’ children.

IV. ACTIVITIES

Through intensive action and research, the following activities could be attained:

1. To distribute School supplies for 50 children.

2. Make them to go to school very perfect and good study.
3. Teach them on how to count and read.
4. To inspire and motivate them to study well.
5. To do a seminar to the parents.
V. CAPACITY BUILDING

Parents who are properly guided on how to educate and motivate their children will
hopefully reach out to other parents. Some children may also influence other children into
looking at learning into a fun part in their life.

VI. BUDGETING

This project needs a budget that can help to attain its main goal. To be able to do this
we came up with this specific budget to be able to fulfill our main goal. And these are the
materia9ls we are going to need to accomplish our project:

VII. RISK ANALYSIS

Lack of interest of the parents to attend the seminars maybe a problem, also children
may respond differently, some may become stubborn enough for them not to be to teach by
their parents. To manage these situations, the group came up with a strategy for the parents as
well as the children to be interested in this project.

VIII. SUSTAINABILITY

The fact that the parents already know how to educate their children is sustainable
enough. They will serve as guides for the children and motivate them into becoming better
individuals. As long as the children enjoy learning they will soon realize that what their parents
did for them was out of love and that they only wanted the best for them.
