Mr. Badri Mahapatra (Director)

Mr. Badri Mahapatra, has over sixteen years of experience across
organizations. This includes private sector firms, public sector
organizations, Education and Research institutions. During his long tenure
in PSUs he has gained insights into the functioning and dynamics of
government organizations. His last assignment was as Assistant Vice
President, Gujarat Venture Finance Limited, Ahmedabad. Having worked
on numerous similar projects, he has an intense understanding of the
socio-economic scenario of the state of Gujarat. In addition, as Advisor of
The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE), Gujarat Chapter, he is actively involved in
promoting entrepreneurship in the State of Gujarat.

Mr. Tapas Biswas (Dy. Director)

Mr. Tapas Biswas has over 24 years of experience spanning various
disciplines such as Sales, Marketing, CRM and IT. Throughout his
illustrious career, he has worked for various reputed organizations such as
LIC of India, Bajaj Allianz and SBI Life in senior managerial positions. He
has showcased his managerial skills as the associate Vice President at
Bajaj Allianz and the Divisional Head (North Gujarat) at SBI Life.

Mr. Vikash Sinha

Mr. Vikash Sinha is Post-Graduate Diploma in Rural Management from
Xavier Institute of Management (XIMB). He has blend of field-experience
and managerial experience in project formulation, implementation,
agriculture extension and monitoring of projects related to Natural
Resources Management (NRM) and Micro-finance - 6 years experience.
He has worked with PRADAN, West Singhbhum, Jharkhand, on promotion
of sustainable rural livelihoods for the tribal people by forming Gram
Sabhas and its sub-committees and also women SHGs. During
association, he was exposed to Social Research Methods and was
instrumental in anchoring a part of the national study in Jharkhand state
under IWMI-Tata programme on themes of “Future of Agriculture”,
“Livestock and Water Supply” and “Supplementary Irrigation”.
Later, during his association with Sajjata Sangh, Ahmedabad- he was
exposed to working collectively with the stakeholders on “Watershed-Plus”
on capacity building of partner NGOs on technical and operational aspects,
institutional strengthening and linking CBOs with external sources of
knowledge and agriculture extension. During his association he worked
with Government, Donor agencies, NGOs to help create improved and
responsive procedural framework for rural livelihood enhancement and
NRM at state level.

Mr. Bhushan Phadnis

Mr. Bhushan Phadnis is a MBA from the Nirma Institute of Management
and a Bachelor of Engineering (Electronics and Telecommunication) from
Pune University. Prior to his MBA, he has worked with Godrej InfoTech Ltd.
for two years. While handling various projects for Godrej and Boyce Ltd., he
has shown excellent leadership and project management skills. He has
worked with various divisions on a wide variety of projects in the fields of
Planning, Operations, ecommerce, Finance and Automation. He is
credited with developing various desktop and web-based systems.

Ms. Gargi Upadhyay

Ms. Gargi Upadhyay has accomplished her academics from premier
institutes of the country like IIM Ahmedabad for Management studies and
IARI for her post graduation in the field of Agronomy. Pre-MBA she has
worked for 4 years with Space Applications Centre (ISRO) in the field of
Research and Development. She has about 15 research papers published
in her name based on the work with ISRO. She has an extensive
experience in the field of agricultural research and studies based on remote
sensing and GIS application. She has done her summer internship with ITC
for developing a price model for potatoes. Post MBA she worked for a small
stint with a private company in Mumbai as 'Manager – Special Projects'.

Mr. Nikhil Vaswani

Mr. Nikhil Vaswani is a management graduate from Indian Institute of
Management, Ahmedabad. As part of Wipro Technologies' Strategic
Management Group, he was a driving the initiative involving development
of marketing templates for existing as well as potential partners. He played
an instrumental role in the Privatization of the Residential Water Supply
System at Amreli. Working in congregation with Gujarat Industrial
Development Board and a leading infrastructure advisory firm, the project
involved the identification of opportunities for private sector participation
and the development of a suitable framework for the same. Mr Vaswani has
been instrumental in advising and executing various Management
Consultancy assignments of repute.

Mr. Praveen Chandra

Mr. Praveen Chandra is an engineering graduate from Indian Institute of
Technology, Kanpur (IIT-K). He has gained good experience of handling
CDM projects of various types. He is adept in executing and managing
whole CDM project cycle beginning from documentation to MOEF
approval, validation, monitoring and verification. He has dealt with all the
major industries in Gujarat which includes textiles, ceramics, edible oils,
dairy, chemical etc. He had successfully executed various projects in
