I. Objectives: At the end of the lesson, 100 % of the pupils should be able to:

a. identify the parts of a plant and its function;


b. label the parts of the plant; and
c. manifest the value of being eco-friendly by preserving plants

Presentation

Ask the learners what you knew about plants.


Show a picture of plants.

Ask the following questions:


What do you see in the picture?
How can you describe it? (pupils answer)
b. ENGAGE
Ask 5 volunteers to pick cut out pictures inside the box.
Let the learners solve a puzzle about plants.
(paste picture of puzzle)
Ask the volunteers to describe their formed puzzle.
(Pupils’ answer)

c. EXPLORE

Divide the class into three groups.


Present the activities in every station for their gallery walk.
Let each group do the following activities.
Station 1
Station 2
Station 3

Group leader will share their output.

d. EXPLANATION

Let the learners define what plant is.


Ask them to enumerate the parts of the plant and its function.
