To become a licensed veterinarian, an examinee must pass
the Veterinary Medicine Licensure Examination. In order to
pass, an examinee must obtain a weighted average of at
least 75% with no rating below 50% in any subject.

The 12 subjects in the Physician Licensure Exam are
individually graded. Each subject in the test contributes
8.3% to your overall grade. You need to have a passing
grade of 75% with no grade below 50% in any of the subject.
The passing rate for the Physician Licensure Exam is
determined using the Mean Passing Level (MPL) of the total
number of examinees.

The licensure examination shall consist of both written and
practical tests and in order to pass the examination, an
examinee must obtain a general weighted average of at
least seventy-five percent (75%) with no rating below fifty
percent (50%) in any subject. An examinee in dentistry is
qualified to take the practical examination if he/she
passed the written or the practical phase of the
examination with an average grade of no less than seventy
five percent (75%).
