Activity sheets and more info is on our website
The Wheatland County Assessment department will be performing the 2019 Annual Property
Assessment Inspections in the coming months. The purpose of these inspections is to update
assessment information for properties with new assessable buildings built in 2019 or incomplete
buildings constructed in prior years. Inspections may require measuring buildings and taking
digital exterior photographs of all assessable buildings. These inspections will commence in
October and may continue into November, and possibly December. If the resident is not home at
time of inspection, a call back card may be hung on the main entrance door of the residence or
other conspicuous location.
All Assessors carry personal identification and the vehicle entering the yard site will be identified
