He said this to test him, for He Himself knew what He would do. Philip answered Him, “Two
hundred denarii worth of bread would not be enough for each of them to get a little.” One of His
disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother, said to Him, “There is a boy here who has five barley
loaves and two fish, but what are they for so many?” Jesus said, “Have the people sit down.” Now
there was much grass in the place. So the men sat down, about five thousand in number.

The textbook of all textbooks is the Word of God. It is our shield and sword as educators for our
professional learning. What could be more important than learning what God has ordained for
profitable teaching, reproof and training in righteousness?

2 Timothy 3:16 – All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for

correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for
every good work.

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank You for showing us how critical Your Word

is to our lives. All Scripture is breathed out by You
and is profitable for us particularly for teaching. It
will also read us like a book for reproof, correction
and training in righteousness. Help us Lord to

treasure Your Word daily that we may be

equipped for every good work on our campuses.
We ask in the steadfast name of Jesus. Amen.
