Abbreviations Using Colour A


ch = chain Begin with a slip knot on your hook, Ch 6, ss
cont = continue into the first ch to form a ring.
dc = double crochet
dc3tog = work 3 double crochet together Round 1 - Ch 1 [counts as first sc], 15 sc in

ss into the first ch 2 sp, ch 1 [counts as sc],
ch 3, *sc in the next ch 2 sp, ch 3,* cont to
rep from * to *, ss to join.

It is easier to work the stitches from the front of the work as shown in
the following picture.

Using Colour C
Round 4 - Begin with a slip knot on your
hook, use a chainless start, *(2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc)
in ch 3 sp [base of the petal], * cont to rep
from * to *, ss to join, do not cut yarn.
Then the stitches need to be pushed behind the petals as shown in
the first picture in the next round.

Round 7 – To set up the round, cont with


colour B still attached, ch 3 behind the ch 6
loop and ss into the next ch 4 sp. You are
now in a position to begin the round, do not
cut yarn.

Round 5 - Cont with colour C still attached, 7


dc in ch 2 sp, *ss into the first dc in the base
of the next petal, 7 dc in ch 2 sp,* cont to rep
from * to *, join using an invisible join.

Cont with colour B still attached, (5 dc, ch 1, 5


dc) in the next 6 ch loop, *ss into the next ch

Using Colour B
