In this section, the business- “Schiacciato” is discussed to identify and described its
mission, vision, the owner leading in this business, structure of the business, the logo that illustrates
the meaning of the business and core values which describe what is our business offered all about.

Mission
To promote excellent quality at low price and develop innovation in food business. To
satisfy the customers by providing attractive products and to connect to our customers by meeting
their expectations.

Vision
To be the leading food company in the world. To inspire people to discover creativity and
meet the ever-changing needs of consumers.

Owners
The type of ownership of the business is Partnership. It is composed of two or more
persons that agree to contribute money and skilled of the business. The owners of the business are
Eunice Ann Bea, Dante Bellen, Claire Macaraeg, Jeverlyn Amante Marquez, Hannah Nicole
Pioquid and Tricia Lane Sarmiento. Each Partner shares the capital, profit and losses equally in
management of the business. They are all liable for debts of the partnership and they are contained
a written partnership agreement which is the “Article of Co-Partnership”.

are avid potato snackers who are willing to buy any potato product. For a day, it’s expected to have
a minimum of 100 customers.

Schiacciato will offer mashed potato balls with fillings. The two fillings will be chocolate
and cheese. The mashed potato balls will be served for 20 pesos per 3 pieces and 7 pesos per piece.
This potato balls can also be customized in different shapes and fillings. As for chocolate fillings,
customer can choose whether it’s milk chocolate, dark chocolate, or white chocolate. Mashed
potato balls are deep fried and considered finger food. Currently, there are no other business which
sells a mashed potato balls with fillings that can be customize in Cabuyao. Our product will be
first ever here in Cabuyao.

because we focus exclusively on quality distribution, satisfacton and customer service.

Our primary weakness is that we are a new business competing largely against established
business. To significantly build sales, we must not just find new customers - we must take
customers away from existing business. However, by offering a variety of fillings and
customization option, new groundbreaking products to the market, and focusing on quality
products and service, we feel will can quickly establish accounts and build strong relationships.

SALES LITERATURE

Sales literature to be distributed to both current and potential customers will include fliers,
as well as other print media such as print advertisements. Schiacciato will also use social media
to promote the product and post updates. The management team are also skilled in graphic design
and desktop publishing, and has quality design and printing equipment to publish professional
pieces at a low cost and edit pictures to advertise the product in Social media.

Schiacciato will purchase potatoes directly from wholesalers, as well as for the fillings.
This eliminates the broker or "middle man," this allows us to operate on a 25-30% profit margin,

Within the first year of business, Schiacciato intends to add stalls on other location and
accomplish at least 3 stalls/ branches. The management team will also add variety of fillings to
the mashed potato balls and not just chocolate and cheese. The management will also upgrade
some of their equipment and enhance the editing of graphics for social media posts.

Sales Representative, Tricia Lane Sarmiento is the Marketing Manager and Eunice Ann Bea is the
Kitchen Manager.
MANAGEMENT SUMMARY

The Schiacciato will be owned and operated by its founders, initially working with a small
employee base that will cover sales and delivery. Management and personnel plans are covered in
more detail in the topics to follow. Dante Bellen has a strong entrepreneurial spirit and he is
prepared to invest a great deal of time and effort over the coming years to make Schiacciato a
successful business venture. Mr. Bellen shall act as the top manager, with the other owners acting
as managers and professionals. They shall be responsible for hiring and supervising part time help
that will be hired as needed, throughout the year. Additional assistance is acquired on a part-time
basis and/or through the use of consultants, specifically in legal matters. The owners has close
family connections with many consultants who can advise the business. Owners will graduate from
the Pamantasan ng Cabuyao with a Bachelors of Science in Accountancy. They will have a
concentration in Entrepreneurial Business.
