About the Opportunity

Qenos has a fantastic opportunity for a Graduate Chemist or


Materials Engineer to join our Product Integrity team in Altona,
Victoria.

Initially working at Qenos’ state of the art Technical Centre, your
primary responsibility will be to progress continuous improvement
projects, support plant trial work, complete quality assurance
activities and provide high level know-how and expertise to
laboratory technicians.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
Conducting physical and mechanical testing and operation of
specialised polymer article fabrication equipment, to support quality
assurance, product development, technical service and plant trouble
shooting;
Operation of laboratory facilities in a manner that ensures personal
and colleague safety;
Providing leadership and teamwork to ensure resources are used to
the maximum efficiency, in line with the business requirements
affecting the Product Integrity team;
To conduct, plan and coordinate laboratory testing of various Qenos
and competitor materials for external and internal customers and
third parties;
Providing expert interpretation and effective communication of
significant testing outcomes in relation to product integrity and
research development activities and;
To maintain and continuously improve laboratory testing
performance in relation to safety, efficiency, robustness, precision
and productivity.
Please Note: This is a full-time role, however flexibility to provide
weekend and silent hours support as required will be a requirement of
the position to service any urgent product releasing needs, plant trial
testing and resolution of quality control laboratory issues.
