Course Objective: This course introduces students with higher level financial accounting and
reporting requirements, which enables the students deal with advanced partnership problems,
joint ventures accounting, special issues in installment & consignments sales, accounting for
branches & head offices, and state owned enterprises.
Course Description: Accounting for Partnership formation and operation, partnership
dissolution and liquidation; joint venture accounting; Agency & principal, Home office & Branch
accounting; special issues of Installment and Consignment sales; and accounting for public
enterprises (Ethiopian case).
