Statement of the Problem

This study addresses the following questions:

1. What are the socio-demographic profile of the members?

2. How do the members manage their money?

3. What are the financial management strategies of the members of the BODA-MPC?

4. What are the problems encountered by the members with regard to their financial

resources?

Objectives of the Study

This study aimed to:

1. determine the socio-demographic profile of the members;

2. determine how members manage their money;

3. determine the saving strategies of members; and

4. determine the problems encountered by the members with regard to their financial

resources.

Importance of the Study

The result of this study may provide sound financial idea on how members effectively manage

their financial resources. It may give information that can help to promote personal financial savings

strategies. This may encourage members to be concerned regarding their financial management. The

study may provide an access to great decision-making tool for key financial considerations.
Scope and Delimitation of the Study

This study focused with the financial management of members from Benguet operators and

drivers multi-purpose cooperative.

 METHODOLOGY

Locale and Time of the Study

The study will be conducted from December to January 2019. The study will be conducted at

Benguet Operators and Drivers Association-Multipurpose Cooperative which is located at Western

Buyagan, Poblacion, La Trinidad, Benguet.

Respondents of the Study

The respondents were the members of Benguet Operators and Drivers Association-Multipurpose

Cooperative.

Data Gathering Procedure

Data was gathered through survey questionnaire. Other information needed was gathered

through interview with the members who are willing to share some relevant information.

Data Gathered

The data gathered were the socio-demographic profiles, financial management strategies and

problems encountered by the members with regard to their financial resources.

Data Analysis

The data collected was analyze using descriptive statistics.
