Commercial Manager, SE&T. Reporting directly to the Programme Manager SET
the successful candidate will be responsible for managing all commercial aspects of
Signalling, Electrification & Telecommunications (SET) projects ensuring that both
IE and 3rd party projects deliver value for money in relation to cost, quality and
program.
The Commercial manager will also be responsible for developing project KPI’s,
managing project budgets, staff and resources to effectively support project delivery.

Essential criteria:
Level 8 qualification in Engineering, QS, Accountancy or equivalent.
Demonstrable experience in commercial management of engineering projects.
Experience in the preparation of budgets for projects.
Demonstrable experience in project delivery from project inception through to
placing into service.
Proven track record in a people management position.
Excellent communication, leadership and relationship skills.

• Project Management and team leadership.
• Specialist Knowledge.

• Excellent communication skills.

Trainee Drivers

Have you previously considered the role of a train driver?

Good news, because over the next five years, we’re looking to recruit Train Drivers
to operate some of the most modern fleets in Europe.
As a Train Driver your duty will be to deliver safe, customer-focused journeys, with
scope to continue on to future roles in supervisory and management positions.

Candidates must be willing to work various shift patterns, including weekend work,
between 39-48 hours a week. We match the responsibility of this safety-critical
role with a salary scale that can reach a maximum of €58k per annum. Successful
candidates will develop operational knowledge prior to qualification as part of the
Train Driver Training programme.

Minimum applicant requirements include:


• Applicants must meet European Train Driver Licensing requirements with a

Heavy Maintenance Manager, CME, Inchicore

Maintenance Manager, CME, Inchicore. Reporting to the CME Production Planning
Manager the role of Heavy Maintenance Manager is to work with the Production
Planning Manager & the Technical Manager to develop and implement the heavy
maintenance strategy for all IÉ rolling stock to ensure the safe and cost effective
running of rolling stock. The successful candidate will also develop yearly operational
plans for CME depots and workshops to ensure maintenance strategy is implemented.
They will also prepare yearly budget for the heavy maintenance strategy and develop
reporting structures to track performance against heavy maintenance plans and
budgets.

Interested candidates must demonstrate the following essential criteria:


• Engineering Maintenance background.
• Knowledge and experience of Railway Maintenance Procedures and methods.
• Knowledge of Inventory Control and Materials Planning procedures and practices.
• Computer skills, typing, word processing, excel, front page and S.A.P. data input
and informal access including database.
• Ability to meet with and discuss maintenance issues both in house and externally
and creates and presents such reports.

A competency based interview will form part of this selection process.
