Five years from now at the age of 23 years young i see myself beginning my first year teaching.

In an english High school class located in my city, Las Vegas. At this time i would have

completed two years of work experience at Sunset Montessori. Also within these five years i

would have completed two years subtititing at different high schools throughout vegas. In my

resume for my new job as an english teacher i would have also included i have completed ten

hours of observation. I have many lesson plans i have came up wit that are now being put to use.

I would include many group activities and group projects that all students will enjoy

completing.I would have graduated my associates at CSN although I graduated for my bachelors

in the prestigious UNLV. Graduation is such a memorable moment when celebrating with all my

classmates that we are accomplishing our goals. When all my hard work finally pays off, making

everyone who believed in me such like my family proud. As Times eventually flies by i would

see myself becoming a dean ten years from now.My carer wouldn’t be the only change i would

also go from a miss to a mrs. as well. I would have graduated once again at unlv although it

would be for my masters this time around. My main goal was to become a dean something i

would love and enjoy every second of the day. Within ten years from now i would have

completed the dean program i would be hired within less than a year of completing the program.

I would be proud of how far i’ve made it and that i was able to make my dream a reality.I would

have completed not only my bachelor but my masters as well. I would have also completed my

volunteer work i did at the dean’s office as a teacher every day on my prep period. I would still

be working in the same High school i started teaching. I would feel comfortable in my career

knowing not only the staff that have been working for years as well but also my students most

importantly.I would know the school like the palm of my hand. I would enforce the rules the
principle has set but also connect with my students make them feel like they could come if they

have an problems i could help them with. I consider myself a progressivism teacher it’s what fits

me best someone who works along with the students together.I don’t see myself being a teacher

who simply throws a book to a students and expects them to learn by themselves. I would

absolutely be there for my students because i will enjoy doing so.I would be more than gladly to

ask them questions to get them thinking and more engaged overall is my main goal. Students

need a teacher to guide them make them feel like their really being taught. Growing up attending

public schools from my personal experience i can say that a progressive teacher is one of the

most engaging and helpful teachers their is in this educational field.Although the philosophy that

is against my dna is would be the existentialism. An existentialism is when students are directing

their own learning, when a teacher believes everything that the student is being taught will be

soon forgotten. It’s against my dna because their is no need for students to direct their own

learning because that’s why they have a teacher they might as well direct their own learning at

home in that case. My believe is that students don’t forget everything their being taught. The

teaching they receive in high school comes back to them in college. Students unfortunately will

not find their own direction if their not being taught.
