Job Description

1. JOB DETAILS:

Position Title: Sales & Marketing Head

Reports to: Managing Director

Department (Division): Sales & Marketing

Job Location: Ras Tanurah (Travel Required)

2. JOB PURPOSE:

Accomplishes business development activities by researching and developing marketing opportunities and
plans; implementing sales plans; managing staff.

3. JOB DESCRIPTION
People Management
 Provides leadership to the day-to-day operations of the sales department, while maintaining focus
on the company’s strategic goals.
 Establishes performance goals for all sales department employees, and monitors performance on a
continual basis.
 Oversees all hiring, training and firing of personnel involved in Sales and Marketing.

Planning & Strategy


 Analyses sales statistics to determine business growth potential.
 Analyses and creates plans for engaging the target market.
 Contributes marketing and sales information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews.
 Implements production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards, determines system
improvements, and implements changes
 Projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products; analysing trends and
results; establishing pricing strategies; recommending selling prices; monitoring costs, competition,
supply, and demand.
 Creates and presents regular performance reports for managers and executives.

Sales & Marketing


 Demonstrates products and services as deemed necessary by clients and management.
 Attends trade shows and travels to meet clients and promote product.
 Coordinates sales operations with all other departments/divisions of the Company.
 Accomplishes marketing and sales objectives by planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating
advertising, merchandising, and trade promotion programs.
 Identifies marketing opportunities by identifying consumer requirements; defining markets,
competitor's share, and competitor's strengths and weaknesses; forecasting projected business.
 Improves product marketability and profitability by researching, identifying, and capitalizing on market
opportunities; coordinating new product development.
 Stay up-to-date on current market trends.

Job Description
Customer Service & Relations
 Develops, maintains and improves business relations with all customers of the Company.
 Seeks out and targets new customers and new sales opportunities, initiates action plan to approach
and secure new business for the Company.
 Sustains rapport with key accounts by making periodic visits; exploring specific needs; anticipating new
opportunities.

4. JOB CONTEXT:

Works in conjunction with the directors, managers, coordinators and manages this interdepartmental
cooperation.

5. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:

Minimum Experience:
 3-5 years’ experience in a marketing and sales.
 Previous experience in Jubail.
Job-Specific Skills:
 Proven leadership ability to influence, develop, and empower employees to achieve objectives with a
team approach.
 Demonstrated superior time management skills and meeting sales deadlines.
 Effective communicating with excellent interpersonal, negotiation and presentation skills.
 Ability to work in highly challenging and pressurized work environments.
 A keen understanding of marketing concepts, financial planning and strategy.
 Ability to understand the customer and provide excellent customer service.
