BIO-OS ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

SECOND QUARTER ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT

APRIL TO JUNE 2019

I. INTRODUCTION

Reading is how we discover new things and how we develop a positive self-image. The
ability to read is a vital skill in being able to function in today's society. Reading is important
because it helps expand the mind and develops the imagination.

A pupil who knows how to read can educate himself in any area of life he sees fit. A
pupil who doesn’t read or is a poor reader often has low opinion of himself and his
capabilities. He mostly feels isolated and behaviour problems surface. As we live in an age
abundant with information, reading is the only way to become informed.

Bio-os Elementary School of Amlan District, Negros Oriental Division manages to

maintain a room which serves as a library where learners can borrow and read books from the
Library Hub. It continues to initiate activities to enhance the value of reading.
