AUDIT OBJECTIVES

1. To obtain the quantity of the different inventory items of San Luis del Mar.
2. To obtain the quantity of different inventory items of San Luis del Mar.
3. To determine if the inventory items are functioning, in good condition or are for
immediate repair.

AUDIT PROCEDURES

1. The manager(?) of San Luis del Mar briefed the student auditors about the nature
of the operation San Luis del Mar and give a tour to know where the different
places to conduct the count.
2. The student auditors are given the lists of rooms and buildings where they are
assigned to conduct the count.
3. The student auditors count the inventory items in their assigned areas in the San
Luis del Mar Stock Room 2, 3, and 4, and inspect whether they are functioning,
in good condition, or for immediate repair. The student auditors are monitored
by the manager(?) while performing the inventory count.
4. The student auditors count the inventory items in their assigned areas in the San
Luis del Mar Main Building Comfort Room and inspect whether they are
functioning, in good condition, or for immediate repair. The student auditors are
monitored by the manager(?) while performing the inventory count.
5. The student auditor writes the quantity and type of item in the list provided by
the manager(?).

FINDINGS

We, the student auditors are tasked to conduct an inventory counting on the
Properties and Equipment of some of the rooms in San Luis del Mar. Our group is
assigned to count the properties and equipment of the four (3) stock rooms and two (2)
comfort rooms in the Main Building. To utilize well the time, the student auditors have
distributed themselves to count for different items. The count was conducted last
October 13, 2018 and the student auditors were assisted by Mr. Leo Galap, the
manager(?) of San Luis del Mar.
 The first room inventoried, the Stock Room 4 in the Main Building. Most of the
items counted are in good condition and some items are damaged.

The next room inventoried, Stock Room 3 in the Main Building. All the items counted
are in good condition and the equipment are functioning.

The next room inventoried, Stock Room 2 in the Main Building. Some of the
inventories in the laboratory are newly purchased. All the items are in good condition
and the equipment are functioning.

The last room inventoried was the Comfort Room for Male and Female in the Main
Building. All items are in good condition and the equipment are functioning.
