ARTICLE #1

In this film, The title would be ​Stop Running. ​The movie would be based off of the

shooting in Odessa, Texas.The beginning of the story will be very similar but the end will be

completely different. In the film, he is 27 and his name is Jaxton Henry, his childhood was

decent but his parents were very rude and stubborn. He became rebellious and aggressive. Fast

forward to present time, the film will start off with him speeding in his car, getting flashbacks of

all the bad things that happened to him. Different shots of him stressing out. Later you see him

walking into a dark store and walks out with a bag. Once he gets in the car he pulls out the gun

and starts driving. The scenery is set on a cliff side road. Once he reaches the interstate he gets

pulled over by a police officer. He gets so made that he got pulled over because he didn't use his

blinker, he attempts to shoot himself but misses and ends up killing the police officer. With all of

the stress building up, he makes a run for it. While the scenes of him speeding in the car the song

Paralyzed by NF is playing for audio while muffled sounds of gunshots, glass breaking, and

people screaming. Fast forward to him speeding away he is still shooting at random people, he

breaking down crying and gives up. Once he reaches the Cinergy movie theater he then leaves

his car and starts running into the woods.

He is than able to run away from the police and sneaks his way onto a bus and heads

toward Virginia. He passes several stops and sees all over the news about what happened in

Texas. Luckily for him, they didn’t find out who he was. Times pass with him traveling and

getting in trouble. He finally reaches Virgina on a stormy night. Once he gets off the bus, it's

pouring rain and he decides to run towards this unknown building. He walks up the steps and

sees a light is on. He is about to open the door and sees a whole bunch of kids running around. A
lady is in another room. He looks over to her and watches her laughing and talking. Finally

someone walks over to Jaxton, and sees if he is alright. He says, “Yea, I’m just lost. I need a

place to stay.” Eventually someone shows him a motel he can stay at for however long he needs.

Later during the week he meets the girl he saw in the room, the first night he was there.

Her name is Marla Sofie; she is 24 years old. They both happen to be at the farmers market.

Jaxton was alone and Marla was with some of her friends. He notices her and glances over her

way every now and then. He does the same thing in other locations that they so happen to be at

together. Finally she catches on, and they officially meet. Time goes on and they began to be

friends. He starts to have feelings for her, but she only dates christians. Church is a really

important part in Marla’s life. He knew that there was something special about her. He began to

start making friends but still barely talked. He met up with some guy friends and asked what he

should do about Marla, since they were also christian. They told him to start going to church, so

they decided to help him get Marla’s attention. The first service he went with his friends; he felt

that the preacher was talking about him and he couldn’t get the images of what he had done; he

got up and left in the middle of the service. While he was walking away, one of his friends,

Luke, followed him. Luke asked if everything was okay, and that if he needs anything to let him

know. Jaxton was frustrated and about to be in tears, he explains that he doesn’t belong here and

that he isn’t a good person. Luke explains that the people in the church building aren’t perfect; he

says that we are all sinful and fall short of God. Luke tries to explain that the people in the world

may not forgive him but God has and that’s all that matters. Jaxton knew that no one in the

church has done something this bad, so he just walks away. Luke follows him again and says that

if he isn’t going to talk to him then he needs to talk to someone.

 A few days past, Jaxton has been very quiet and standoffish. Jaxton knew he made a

mistake and he can’t erase it or forgive himself. He decides to go back to Luke because he feels

the weight on his chest. Luke brings him to the pastor, Pastor Nathan. Jaxton tells him how he

just wants to be relieved of this unknown feeling, he can’t hold this stress anymore but he also

can’t tell anyone. After a few hours of them talking, Pastor Nathan got stuck in Jaxton head. He

is telling Jaxton that Jesus died for your sins; meaning that you can start over; with God anything

can happen. He decides to start going to church more. Jaxton has felt that he finally found God.

He still can’t forgive himself but he knows God has forgiven him. Marla notices he’s actually

trying, so she goes up to him and invites him for coffee.

They have multiple coffee “dates” and Jaxton is able to open up more. He realizes that

Marla is indeed very special; he decides to ask her on a real date.she explains to him that church

is important to her life, but she doesn’t want to be the reason he decided to go. He admits it was

in the beginning but now he actually understands and wants to be on God’s side. She finally says

yes. Their relationship was good until the one date where they were with friends and their was

police officers. He got scared and sneaked out. No one ran after him that day. Marla tried to call

him but no answer. Sunday at church he wasn’t there. She decided to stop by where he was

staying; she walks up to the door; she knocked on the door and waited. She puts her hand on the

door know about to open it and then he opens the door and they make eye contact. She sees that

he is packing up his things. He says that he needs to leave town. He explains how he did

something terrible and that she shouldn't be near him. She explains that everyone makes mistakes

and that she won’t judge him.

 Without saying anything else, he runs. He keeps running. By this time the police came,

they questioned Marla and she stated how shy he was but they became close friends. She shares

how while he was here, he made friends and found God. The police told her and his other friends

what Jaxton had done. No one believed it was true. Many people like Luke said to just forget

about him, but Marla wanted to go find him and talk to him. Luke and Marla get into a heated

argument, about how untrustworthy and dangerous he is. Marla states her claim that she knew a

different side of him and then flashbacks would appear. The pastor walks over and says she’s

right we are all sinful and no matter how bad it was, it is still a sin that is forgiven by God.

She drives over to a mountain, making sure no one was following her and past the

mountain there was a secret entry way into it. She pulls up and finds Jaxton. Jaxton was

concerned but they greeted each other with a hug and then Jaxton pulled away saying that she

needs to leave. Marla of course wasn’t going to leave; she stayed; they talked about it. After a

long conversation, he decides to stop running, and turns himself in.

The scene will then end and the next scene will be police lights then that will fade. The

final scene will be him in court. The judge is deciding if he should get the death toll. Then it will

end.

This movie would be worth seeing because it has a little bit of everything: suspension,

comedy, romance, real life things, and it just keeps you tied in. Since there are so many

shootings now a days with so many negative out comes, this movie will make people have a

different viewpoint. It will not justify or excuse shootings but it just gives it a different turn out.

In this film, the plot will stay the same as the dive boat has caught on fire. The movie will

be more suspenseful and dramatic. The movie would be called ​Under the Fire.​ It starts off with

scenes of beautiful California waters. Then you see the Scuba divers getting their gear and

putting it on the boat. Each person is super excited to be going on this adventure. Everyone on

the boat were complete strangers except for the people they came with. The Captain was greeting

all of the people, while the workers were setting up the boat. The one worker noticed there's

something wrong with the boat, but he doesn’t say anything because it was his first day. He

didn’t want to get fired for stupidity, so he let it go. The Captain and the divers then set seas far.

They finally set in the middle of the water where they began to scuba dive. The one diver notices

the water while the boat was already stopped and said they should probably move the boat, so

they did. Once the captain starts the engine the boat completely burns and a huge fire set on top

of the water. The gasoline caused the fire to spread far and wide since when they were traveling

gasoline was also leaking. The divers had no choice but to jump into the water and stay under.

While the people were gearing up, the fire was getting bigger and bigger. Many people

either died by catching on fire, passing out, or when they jumped into the water the fire was to

fast and burned them. The people that did survive had to make sure they had all their scuba

diving stuff and made sure to see if it was safe to jump. There were 6 people that made it under

the fire. There was a couple named Lynn and Sam, a college student named Matthew, two

brothers named Mike and Ross and the captain. They all want to survive but also want to help

their loved ones survive.

 Under the fire, they tried to swim but it was too far. There was no way of stopping the

fire, it was like a wildfire on water. Tensions built up fast between each member. They all tried

to talk to the captain, but it was hard to communicate under water. They all wanted the captain

gone, since they assumed he was at fault. They even had fights under the water. They were all

just mad and scared of what’s going to happen. They weren’t sure if they were even going to

make it alive. Each had to survive and make sure they didn’t run out of oxygen or get too close

to the fire.

As time passes by they agreed to move on and go their separate ways instead of sticking

together; each group suffered the same challenges just in different parts of the ocean.

In the end, each group was actually saved except the captain. All of the things that

happened under the water got to him. He thought about how he should have let someone else

survive instead of him. He ended up cutting off his oxygen and died. The others however were

saved and were able to live.

This movie would be interesting to watch because of the suspensefulness. It would make

the audience feel how scared they were. By watching things that have happened, make you

realize that it is real and could happen to anyone. It would be great to watch because it can keep

you on your toes.

 SUMMER WRITING

Meghan was​ beaming ​with joy that summer has officially started. She had a rough

school year, so she was ready to relax. Meghan started off her summer with a family cruise. It

was one week to be able to ​detox​ from all social media. Meghan thought that the cruise was

exhilarating​! Her and her family had to first travel to California and get to the port at San Diego.

The boat she went on was a Disney Cruise, she ​adores​ Disney Cruises! Her family had so much

fun going on the slides, shopping, eating good food and much more! Sadly the cruise was over

and they went back to California. They​ remained ​at the Disneyland resorts for 4 more days.

Meghan and her family went to each park; Disneyland and California Adventure. Her favorite

part is always the Cars Land, since that is her favorite Disney movie and ride! Meghan​ provided

her GoPro at the park so she took some really cool shots of her and her family on rides for a vlog

she’s making. Of course Meghan wanted to go shopping, and her and her family did. The day

was ​crammed​ with shopping and the pool. The last day at California they drove up to Los

Angeles and saw the Hollywood sign. Meghan loves California because it was so ​gracious​ and

so ​engaging​. Her and her family stopped at UCLA, she had a blast walking around the campus.

After that, they headed to the airport and went home.

Once Meghan was on the plane, she ​promptly ​started editing her vlog that she filmed.

Her ​aspiration ​for the summer was to post and make more videos for Youtube, since she had so

much freedom now that school was over. When her and her family arrived home, it was a just a

reposeful ​week of editing and spending time with family. Anytime she ​excessive ​amounts of

freetime, she cleans her room. She loves to clean her room. Other days she went out with her

church friends and they went to the beach, movies, ice cream or whatever. She was just glad to
be able to hangout with them. Meghan started to be more involved with her church this past year,

and now she has time to be even more helpful. She ​generated ​some new intro slide and video

ideas. She even created the youth instagram page and runs it. She wants to be as much ​assistance

as she can; video ideas ​figuratively stream​ through her brain.

Later in June, she went on a mission trip with her church, they went to New Orleans.

During the trip, she did a lot of painting and construction. She was able to serve God and connect

to the people at her church. Mission trips for her were a​ comparable ​place to a safe place. She

felt like she was able to be herself, she felt loved and not judged by people she didn’t know. This

time during her trip, she didn’t film as much, since she wanted to be in the moment. She of

course filmed some of it though.

Once she reached home, it was​ corresponding​ to any other summer day. The rest of the

summer for Meghan was​ groovy. ​She ​maintained​ ​rendering​ youtube videos, and ​achieved​ so

many subscribers. She had a ​passion​ for trying to make people ​chuckle. ​Of course during this

time she was also​ contributing ​to make videos and slides for her church.

The last thing to her summer was that her grandparents and aunt came down to visit all

the way from Pennsylvania. Anytime they came to visit the whole ​household​ was excited, since

Meghan and her family haven’t seen in awhile. They were able to show them around Myrtle

Beach; go to the movies; eat at fancy restaurants and enjoy ​precious​ time together.

Then after all of this happens, schools starts again.
