Movie Analysis (My Name is Khan)

Good people who do good deeds, good things will happen. In the movie of My
“Name is Khan” by Karan Johar. It is the story of Rizwan Khan a Muslim man
suffering from Asperger's Syndrome goes to America (San Francisco) over there he
meets Mandira a Hindu women single mother Rizwan marry her and they start their
new life, but after 9/11 attacks in America every Muslims been doubted by the
Americans and Rizwan and Mandira's life gets ruined by that incident so to clear his
name Rizwan goes on a journey to meet the President of the United States.

Being having an Asperger's syndrome, a disorder which makes it difficult for

people to interact socially, makes a certain person hardly communicate other people
in which it can lead them to be bullied or discriminate by other people.. But in the
case of Rizwan Khan, even though he had this kind of syndrome he also has
precious abilities where he can able to repair any machine that is broken. Base on
the movie after the September 11 attacks on the twin towers in New York City, it is
the start where the main character which Khan had big trouble to his life and family
where his wife decide to separate with him because of what happen to the son of his
wife Mandira. We can observed that his wife blaming khan due to his belief and
culture. And the only way to gain the trust of his wife is to clean his name from what
happen in New York City by searching the president of America. His journey in
America is very difficult, khan faces a lots of circumstances in order to accomplish
his goal. As we can observed in this movie that the main character was very
determine to achieve his goal. But having a courage and determination khan was
able to obtain his purpose.

In the movie we can say that it is full of love, courage, faithfulness, and
braveness. The movie is full of love where it emphasize of love in family. The main
character showcases how really love his family even though he outcast by his wife
but still he had hope for him to get the trust of his wife and to live with his family
again. Second is courage, where the main character which Khan have boldness or
courage for him to fight the circumstances and problems due to his condition, and he
fought with full of courage despite of his condition. Third is faithfulness, where it
emphasizes of being honest. He really does his best just to search and approach the
President of America just to clean his name. Last is braveness, where it emphasizes
of fearless on achieving his mission despite of his condition.

The movies used of different lightning and color for the effects of the movie,
the emotions of the character are very touching, to differentiate them from the main
plotline. These changes not only make it easier for the audience to know when the
main story line is in effect, but it also provides a visual shorthand as how the main
character is feeling at the time.
 My name is Khan is very inspiring and good movies. It also showcases some
good work on characters and visual, making it a movie which stands out among
other movies with similar themes.
