I've never been to Nepal, and I want to go there. I think the culture is

before. I have climbed many mountains, and now I want to go to the top of
Mount Everest. I also want to go on a jungle safari in Chitwan National Park. I
want to have experiences that are thrilling — and a little frightening!

UNIT 2

Write about your movie preferences

My favorite movie genre is action. Some action movies I like are Troy, Gladiator,
and The Life of Pi. Action movies have a lot of great effects, and they are really
fun to watch. I can relax when I watch action movies. Some people say action
movies are too violent. Frankly, I think they are exciting.
I'm not that big on romantic comedies. I've never liked them. I think they are silly
and boring. For example, I hated the movies Never Been Kissed and The Other
Woman. I'd rather see a film with more action.

UNIT 3

Write about a hotel experience

When I traveled to Hong Kong for business last year, I stayed at the Dalton
Hotel. I had a terrible experience there. First, I asked for a non-smoking room,
but my room smelled like smoke. Then I changed rooms, but the new room was
very small. Also, the amenities were not great. The business center was too
small, and it was always busy. I had to wait a long time to use the printer. And
the fitness center was also very small and crowded. If I go back to Hong Kong, I
definitely won't stay at the Dalton again!

Write about someone's driving habits

My brother is a terrible driver. He doesn't observe the speed limit. He speeds all
the time. Also, he tailgates. He doesn't maintain a safe following distance
behind the car in front of him. And he is a really aggressive driver. He weaves
through traffic and passes in no-passing zones. Finally, he doesn't pay
attention. He often talks on his phone or sends text messages while driving. My
brother hasn’t been in an accident yet, but I’m always worried about it. He does
do one important thing — always wears a seat belt!

Write about beautiful person

I think my neighbor Maria is a really beautiful person. She has a lot of inner
beauty. She is very warm and friendly. Even when she is busy, she makes time
to stop and say hello. And she likes to help everyone. For example, if you are
carrying a lot of things, she will always offer to help. Sometimes she also brings
me gifts. For example, last week she made me a cake. She loves to help people
and to be kind. She is also very attractive. She has long black hair and pretty
brown eyes. But I think her inner beauty is more important.
