Many high-level positions in companies are filled

by men even though the workforce in many

developed countries is more than 50 per cent
female. Companies should be required to allocate
a certain percentage of these positions to
women. To what extent do you agree?
Hight level positions : management level positions, senior

Gender equality:

Now a days women are considered as powerful as men in all

the fields. Hence, various companies are high-ring women as
part of their workforce 50% more compared to men. Yet , very
few women are working as a managerial position in
comparison. Some people argue that there should be some
reservation for the women in the senior position of the
organisation. In my opinion, it is not a feasible choice to secure
position based on gender, not giving preference to capabilities
and ability along with a qualification. It is harmful to the women
and company both.

If the organisation has started reserving position based on

gender then it has become very easy for women to climb up
the corporate ladder and reach to the top position and it is
somewhere injustice with men employee. It may create a
negative atmosphere in the company and healthy work culture
may get effected. Unfortunately, this will discourage the
women employees to achieve higher education and to work
hard as they already know some positions are already reserved
for them. Instead of promoting reservation quota, girls from
child age should be taught that they too become manager or
CEO if they will work hard because opportunities are the same
regardless of their gender. This way women can gent more
respectful.

If women will reach the senior position with the use of their
reservation, then they will not get a more respectable
environment in comparison at the workplace. Furthermore
applying reservation quota for the female candidate may lead
companies to find another/alternative ways to make false or
play a smart game with the system. Companies can change the
title of positions just fill their required vacancies with other
candidates Due to these reasons, women are not much
benefited when jobs are reserved for them at the workplace.

On the other hand, is very important for an organisation

to employ people with their higher qualification
and capability for their available position. They will always
prefer to higher most talented people who can help them
to achieve high organization goal regardless of their gender. If
there is no reservation, then companies can ensure that most
deserving candidate will reach on top positions regardless of
the gender. Ultimately, the company will grow more and
become more successful. As a company becomes more
successful, it will create more job opportunity and a company
can also higher other employees including female member to
fill their vacancies. So reserving a position for a female
candidate is not the ultimate solution to prove gender equality
at the workplace.

In conclusion hire more female candidate just to inclined with

law can cause more hand than good.In my opinion companies
should higher people based on their capabilities and education
qualities not based on gender just to promote gender equality.
- corporate ladder is become very easy for women to climb up.
- unfortunately discourage them to do more handwork, to
achieve higher education because it is become very easy to
achieve, as some positions are already reserved for them
- companies will try to false system or play smart with system
rules
