Kiplings claims in this poem are fully biased and racist however my thought of

vision is that differentiating humans on bases of ‘’White’’ and ‘’Non White’’ is

unethical and childish.
He provided the clear idea of racial superiority by starting every stanza of his
poem ‘’Pick up the white man’s burden’’. He entitled the white men as ‘’the best
ya breed’’ whilst non-whites as ‘’fluttered folks’’ portraying that white men are
essentially great and labelled handling the non-white men as a challenge. His
text reflects that helping non-whites is just an unfruitful sacrifice that white men
have to do. Kipling straightforwardly discriminated the non-white men by calling
them the most inferior and ill mannered. His claims motivated white people to
take over the other people’s land and supported imperialism. He strongly
believes that whites have to go out and work hard for non-white men in order
to civilize them and he took this as a burden on them.
I believe that there is nothing bad in helping others and as he claimed that white
men are superior so it is a moral duty of the superiors to work for the betterment
of inferiors. He should work on spreading peace instead of promoting hate. His
claims can also be proven wrong by the American writer Faulkner, who himself
is white, and wrote ‘’To be against equality because of race or colour is like living
in Alaska and being against snow’’. Moreover Nelson Mandela said ‘’No one is
born hating other because of the colour of his skin’’ this saying provide the solid
proof that the must not be any difference on colour of skin. Since the white are
best they should really help instead of using this as a tool for colonialism. As
Martin H Fischer said ‘’The tears of red, yellow, black, brown, and white are all
the same’’ the white people must help them by heart instead of taking them as
a burden in moving them out from their difficult time. Obama is one of the
example that reflects that killings’ claims are wrong as he is not white and still
controlled the white people. Kipling thinks that all have been achieved by the
whites and black are just burden however Abraham Lincoln said ‘’Achievement
has no colour’’. His straight forward claims caused nothing else except many
conflicts between white and non-white people.
To conclude killings agree that white man are helping non-white people but he
took it as a burden on them which is completely wrong as it is a moral
responsibility of white people being stronger that they should help the weaker
instead of treating them as animals and illiterate.
