Sean Williams Contract Administrator 9/10/19

My dream job is to be the contract administrator for the New England Patriots. I would

like to be around that winning environment, which is also my favorite team. “Responsible for

preparing, examining, analyzing, negotiating, and revising contracts that involve the purchase or

sale of goods or services such as equipment, materials, supplies, or products” (America's Job

Exchange). I would like to negotiate contracts with the sponsors of the team as well as players. I

would play a large role within the New England Patriots workplace. “Must have a

bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field” (Paralegal Edu). I have to achieve

at least a bachelor’s degree in my major of sports management.

I think this is a correct amount of education for this level of a job. You need at least a

good amount of education to do a job of this caliber. It is not an overly excessive amount of

education for this job. It is also not too little for this important job. “If it is not already being

done, disclosure clauses should be written into their sports contracts forthwith” (The Business

Times of Singapore). Having more four years in sports management would help me discuss

contracts with players. It could help them disclose certain things within their contract and obtain

the money they would like. I would also be able to negotiate to companies about how much of

their product I would like and what I would give them.

Usually the “average salary of a contract administrator is $63,526” (Indeed). That is a

pretty good amount of money for this job. I will manage my money by paying for my bills and

groceries and putting the rest in a savings account each week. This way we will have a good

amount of money in the bank. We will only take the money out of the savings account if we

seriously need the money. Also, if I have a good amount of money in there, I can hopefully pay

my student loans off.
